YouTube channel is an initiative of Illumination to raise profiles of writers and create visibility to their Medium stories

Wishing you all a very happy new year 2022. On this day of January, I am happy to invite you all to join the YouTube Channel of Illumination Integrated Publications.
Do you know that Illumination has a YouTube channel to give you visibility?
It is time to move on. YouTube is a very popular social media platform. It amplifies your work. It has immense potential for bloggers and writers.
Food bloggers can amplify their recipes, nature lovers can take people along with them to admire nature. Talk about science & technology and it will be useful for students, researchers, and other readers. Money, finance, and stock markets interest some people. Psychology and philosophy are some topics that touch people or simple tips to do something interesting.
A case in the example of the popularity of YouTube is that students do their homework while listening to YouTube.
The world has become a global village standing on one platform. The writers need to share their views with people around the world. By uploading one video millions of people can watch it.
YouTube is a publishing platform. You need to create content to publish on YouTube to build your presence there. you can generate traffic from it through the built-in audience.
The videos on YouTube are free to watch and also give an opportunity to earn money too. you can add Affiliate Links, Sponsorships sell products, and can offer your services.
You can monetize your channel through brand deals and advertising and it has become very engaging for people during the pandemic when everyone is living in isolation.
YouTube, helps you to share information with a lot of people in a short time through videos of Ted talks, music, several kinds of animation, spiritual engagements, exercise, and meditation channels.
The video that you prepare can have titles subtitles, transitions, music, and photos selected in the background. You can change and edit any of these elements, and upload your own images that you want to use. You can also plan to upload a voice over in place of music.
The videos you upload will not only show up on YouTube but also in different search engines such as Google.
Write your blog article and accompany it with a video. Your YouTube presence will support your main site, and bring in additional traffic.
Dr Mehmet Yildiz first invited the writers of Illumination Integrated Publications to join the channel on June 10th, 2020. The channel first started with 10 subscribers. Now it has over 300 subscribers.
In the words of Dr Yildiz:
“Writers need visibility for success. Simply put, no visibility, no readability! Period. As the second largest search engine, YouTube is an excellent opportunity to create visibility to your profile and content.”

Several writers like Karen Madej, Suntonu Bhadra, Michele Thill, Jacquelyn Lynn, Sinem Günel, Stacy J. Belinsky, and more created clips introducing themselves and poets like Deborah Barchi, Martine Weber, Arthur G. Hernandez, Arlo Hennings, Drama Llama, Libby Mitchell created beautiful videos narrating their poems.
Illumination YouTube Coordinator, Aidan made a quality checklist for writers, bloggers, and editors.
Aidan’s introduction to Illumination Integrated publications helps to let the writers and readers know about the objectives of the various publications and their scope.
