Exploring Spirituality
The Essence of Spirituality, and what is the point of it!
A Journey into the Realm of Spirituality

What is Spirituality? What’s the point of it? I’ve asked this, and I’m sure many others have around the world. With so many things to believe and or have faith in, to me it’s all the same. Love is always the source. Love is the soul's main food. Aside from Religion a popular practice for most Americans, spirituality is another popular practice as well. Let’s take a deeper look at why many have faith it’s the way to a Peaceful, and blissful Life.
The purpose of spirituality is different for everyone because it’s such a personal and subjective journey. Do you know what’s even more wild? In general, spirituality helps us seek a deeper understanding of ourselves, the world, and how everything is interconnected. It takes us beyond the everyday material stuff and dives into the realms of deeper meaning, purpose, and even the existence of a higher power or universal consciousness. It’s like an adventure to discover the mysteries of life and our place in it all.
Imagine a spiritual moment when you step beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality, where the noise of everyday concerns fades away, and you find yourself in a state of unparalleled detachment. Im going to also experiment. It's called “Picture This.” I’m going to use that mind of yours and have you enjoy these moments with me visually. Ready? Put on your party hats and let’s dance!
Picture it: The serene silence of a late-night drive. Maybe it’s on a deserted highway or soaring above the world like Superman above New York or an Island.
It’s that moment when you’re not bound by obligations or pulled by immediate desires. In this breathtaking state, you can approach the world from a fresh and unfamiliar perspective, seeing it through a new lens, and uncovering hidden Bliss that awaits from this experience.
Let me take you on a journey into a remarkable spiritual moment, where we shatter the confines of our ego and transcend our self-centered nature. Our everyday lives are often dominated by self-interest, constantly seeking validation and tirelessly defending our egos.
Picture this: A moment, guided by the soothing sound of flowing water or the distant call of an owl. In this extraordinary state, our habitual struggle for recognition and self-preservation fades away. Time is stopped or slowed down at this point, and we are set free from the constraints of our ego. Enabling us to achieve something truly extraordinary. It’s as if we become a wandering eye, empathizing with the perspectives of others and the world. Offering us a fresh and profound way of experiencing life. Can you imagine the transformative power of such a moment, where we break free from our egoistic vigilance and embrace a higher level of understanding and connectivity? It’s a remarkable journey that awaits, just beyond the threshold of a spiritual moment.
As we detach from our customary self-obsession, a range of emotions typically reserved for ourselves can now be experienced about others and the elements around us. We may feel the pain of a stranger, find gratification in the success of someone unknown, or take pride in the beauty and intelligence of things unrelated to us. We become imaginative participants in the grand cosmic drama, extending our love and empathy beyond the narrow confines of personal relationships. Love, understood spiritually, transcends ordinary romantic affection and becomes care and concern for all things, great and small. Make sense right?
The claims of spiritual individuals, who claim to feel the presence of God within them, may infuriate some atheists. However, this statement can be explained without dismissing it outright. What they may be trying to convey is that, in certain states, they experience the generosity, nobility of feeling, and selflessness typically attributed to the divine. It is not an imagining of bearded men on clouds, but rather a momentary grasp of the objective tenderness that one might ascribe to a higher power.
Spiritual moments can bring about anxiety-free states, unshackling us from obsessive worries about our future. We may abandon ego-driven goals and accept the uncertainties of life. It is an understanding that we may never achieve the love or appreciation we seek, that ultimately, we will perish - and yet, we find peace and contentment in this acceptance. Simultaneously, a newfound cheerfulness descends upon us, as we redirect the energy once absorbed by the ego into the appreciation of life’s magnificence.
People often involve themselves in spirituality for various reasons

- Compassion and service to others
Spirituality often catalyzes the development of essential qualities such as compassion, empathy, and an altruistic love for humanity. It motivates and empowers individuals to actively engage in acts of care and support towards others, ultimately contributing to the advancement of collective well-being and promoting transformative social change.
- Accessing your inner child in spirituality
Engaging with your inner child through spirituality offers a transformative experience that has many various benefits. It serves as a profound source of healing, self-discovery, increased creativity, authenticity, and a deeper connection to your intuition and inner wisdom.
Just as our childhood experiences can leave emotional wounds, connecting with your inner child in spirituality allows for recognizing and mending these wounds. This process brings clarity to unresolved emotions, opening pathways to inner peace and emotional well-being. As adults, our responsibilities often overshadow our innate sense of joy and playfulness. By reconnecting with your inner child, you can rediscover these qualities, infusing your spiritual journey with lightness and enthusiasm.
Children possess an innate gift for creativity and imagination. Tapping into your inner child enables you to jump-start your creative spirit and view the world from a fresh perspective. This unique perspective creates innovative and imaginative thinking while engaging in spiritual practices, enhancing your spiritual growth.
Of course, we cannot exist in a spiritually elevated plane at all times. The responsibilities and demands of the ordinary world inevitably pull us back. Yet, this does not invalidate or mock our occasional access to a more elevated and disinterested zone. Spirituality should no longer remain in the hands of its haters; it deserves exploration, particularly by those who hold suspicion as their initial response. Let us recognize it as a deeply sustaining interval, relieving us from the burdens and limitations of being merely ourselves and the roles we uphold. It is an unseen horizon, waiting to be explored and experienced by those who dare to venture beyond their comfort zones.
