What is a Belief System? How is it not the same as a Religion?
Exploring the Distinctions between Belief Systems and Organized Religions.

Belief systems and religions have been around since the dawn of mankind. Both happen to provide us with a framework of ideas, values, and principles that guide our decisions and actions. One seems to be perosnal while the other religous. What makes a belief system different from a religion, and why is it important to have one?

Here are the Differences of the Two
Having a belief system is mandatory a key for creating a moral compass. It’s represents what’s stored in you, and your foundation. It gives us a sense of purpose, helps us make decisions, and provides us with direction in life. You can see over time how many people dont have a strong belief system. How many people you thought were strong and theyll be right next to you, but then they fold right infront of you. As shocking as it may be all you can say is wow. With a having good belief system, it also allows us to live our lives with conviction and confidence.

Why it’s Important to Create a Strong Belief System and its Benefits
A strong belief system is necessary for leading, and living a happy and fulfilling life. It allows us to crush the storms of life, triumph over every obstacle, and hardship that comes our way, and emerge stronger and more headstrong. A strong belief system helps us to focus on our goals and stay motivated, even when faced with setbacks or failures.
A Strong belief system is what you set it to be. Your core values you want to go by, whatever morals, and or principles you want it to be. Assertively stick by them and defend them. Your beliefs shape your view of life.

What is religion? Why is it valued compared to a Belief System?
Religion and belief systems have been powerful forces in human history. Religion is a formalized system of beliefs, practices and rituals that often involves devotion and worship of a higher power or deity. It provides structure and guidance for its followers, a sense of belonging from the community of believers, and shared principles that bond people together.
Belief systems differ from this formalized structure, but can also be just as powerful in providing personal meaning, purpose, and direction in life.

Why is it Better to have a Belief System vs Practicing Religion
While religion can provide a sense of community and tradition, it can also be dogmatic and restrictive. The pastor directs messages that are supposed to be naturally given. Everyone knows your business when it should be between you and the man upstairs. A belief system, on the other hand, is a much more personal, and individualistic approach to spirituality. It allows us to create our philosophy and keep a set of values, free from the constraints of organized religion.

Why is a Belief System Not the Same as a Religion
As we know a belief system is a set of unique ideas and principles that set our foundation as human beings. They guide our decision-making and perspective of the world. It is a personal philosophy if you think about it. Whatever you think is but it has to be true and morally right to be called sensible. Belief systems are based on our values and experiences. Religion on the other hand, is a structured and organized system of beliefs and practices that are shared among a group of believers and often involve a deity or deities.
Ultimately, whether one chooses to follow a religious faith or create their own belief system is based on individual values.
