The Power of Now
How the Power of Now Can Improve Your Relationships
“Unlocking the Secret to Strong Connections Through Present Moment Awareness"

Through my journey of Spirituality, I’ve traveled many roads and have learned many lessons. From learning to meditate, letting go, and bonding with nature and crystals; I can honestly say I’ve done it all. I still felt like I was missing something.
At some points of learning, I realized that there are and will always be standstills. It’s like being content with something till a new thing comes along. I was trying to harness more of my power of time and diving into moments. Didn’t know what to call it until I bumped into “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle.

Everything started to make sense on a bigger scale why things were at a stand still. Why I wasn’t seeing any growth was answered. My cap to learning was now uncapped. Happy, discovering I had more to learn I dove right in to the world of knowledge.
Tolle’s teachings helped me understand that my ego, comprising my identity and sense of self, is distinct from my essential authentic self termed as the "Being."
Another important lesson I learned from Tolle is "My thoughts do not define me". Instead of giving my mind permission to dominate me, by letting it run rampant; I should without a doubt simply just observe my thoughts without any intentions and let them drift away, without holding onto them.
I was mind boggled by this beautiful information. I read it all day in preparation to take on the World tomorrow. To say affirmations, and meditation I did just that with the highest faith and intentions, everything is going to be just fine. Nothing can stop me now that I’ve learned such secrets. I see why they put jewels in the books.
I Fell asleep at about 10 ish, woke up around 7:30. Had a business meeting at 8 on Zoom, knocked that out the park. I was feeling like Jordan, I was fully utilizing the power of now by being present and free. I was focusing primarily on business and connecting. Listening and understanding what was coming my way. I was so full I swear the sun was shining directly on me.
Letting go was another key factor in my utilizing the power of now. A lot of distractions will come our way. This person needs this, that person needs that. A spaceship might come and abduct you, who knows but something always is happening. What I did was, block all of that out and not let my ego use these things to block my view of my goals in the present moment. It works people, sometimes you just have to put most of your energy into yourself. You are not a bank.
In addition, Tolle emphasizes the “significance of embracing the current moment without any criticism or opposition”. When I concentrate on the present and acknowledge it as it is, I can stay clear of dwelling on bad moments or thinking about the future, which can drive me crazy. More than none, your best bet is just going with the flow of things.
Most importantly, when it came to relationships with people “The power of now” enabled me to value people more. No phones, no thoughts about irrelevant things, and just being present in my surroundings. I had more meaningful conversations which made me happy. I was able to understand more, and pull any kind of emotions out. With full ability of engulfing myself in their mind, I was loving my experiences from there on out. I guarantee you with not holding on to the past, and future you can fully connect to who you truly are.
Hopefully through my experience of utilizing ”The power of now,” you can be free as well. Being aware of what’s going on in front of you, enjoying your moments, and living your life is pretty enjoyable. Wouldn’t it be nice to not feel heavy anymore? By understanding and executing “The power of now” you can hsck of those chains and begin to enjoy your moment.
