We are living in amazing times. A time of rapid AI development. It seems every single day there is a new AI program out there, even the big players like Google and Microsoft have gotten in on the act! And as a tool, AI is second to none!
A tool for me is something that saves me time, and AI certainly does that! There are so many applications and uses that used to take hours and often cost money! Now I can get things done a lot faster and more importantly for a blogger FREE!
And one of the most useful features has been creating titles and subheadings for my blogs. This has catapulted my writing! One of my posts ranks as the second search result on Google! With the search query, how do detect an AI-written article on medium?
And it is still on the first page with the more general query of how to detect an ai written article?
The main reasons for this is because I managed to use the correct SEO for the three main elements to make a post discoverable!

I have a working title to start a blog off with, this is no more than the general idea, this blog is simply titled
“Using AI as a blogging tool” (the blog idea turned into something else midway through)
When I finish writing I come up with the finished title. Now the thing about titles is that they are the first thing that a reader sees, so they have to stand out, often known as the hook. But that’s not that complicated.
The complicated bit is that titles are very important for Search Engine Optimization or SEO. And this is one thing that used to cause a lot of time and trouble or money.
Finding a title that had a decent hook for the reader and also did well in a search was a bit of a pain in the neck. Typically, I’d come up with a title, then put that title through a keyword program that I had paid for after that I would have to tweak it again so it looked good for the reader then put the completed title through an SEO title program. And yeah, a lot of hassle.
AI is a powerhouse for generating captivating SEO titles! I can do this in minutes by copying and pasting my blog into the AI and asking it to give me 10 SEO titles for this blog. And it does! Then I put those ten titles through an SEO title analyzer and picked the best. Usually, I have to change a word or two or mix a couple of title suggestions, but it is minutes of work.

Now, as a blogger, when you create a blog, your title usually goes into the URL of the post. So the main title’s SEO is even more important as it also forms part of the URL address which helps search engines find your post. Putting the main part of what your blog is about in the first few words

Of course, this is not a miracle cure for low ranks there are many factors involved such as interest in your topic, quality of writing, audience engagement and many other things. But having decent SEO helps rank your blogs and stories when they do start to gain traction.
