Creating Visibility for Writers
1087 writers are gaining visibility through ILLUMINATION!
It’s wild to be seen differently and have more visibility, but it’s rewarding. — Tatiana Maslany
One of the primary goals of ILLUMINATION is to create visibility for our writers. We proactively conduct innovative approaches internally and externally. Over the last two months, many of our writers leveled up by increasing the number of followers, story views, and read times.
ILLUMINATION is recognized by Google and has gained site authority. For example, when the search term “illumination medium” is used, it hits to the top of the page with details of the publication and showing bios of our writers clearly. I am glad over 200 writers submitted their bios which create excellent visibility for our writers.
Flipboard also authorized our story syndication. Our stories are automatically and instantly added to a Flipboard magazine which has a high rank on Google and shared in various social media platforms. Our external readers can easily access stories created by our writers. You can follow us from the attached link to Flipboard.
Apart from Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, now, all our stories are also automatically turned into pins on a Pinterest board. We also add our stories to Quora. Several writing communities started approaching us joining our collaboration hub on Slack.
I also started a series of stories featuring our writers in an interview format. These stories provide further visibility to the profiles and the excellent content they have on Medium and other platforms. The attached story includes the completed interviews.
If you are a writer on ILLUMINATION and would like to be interviewed, please send a request via this link with title of “Interview Request”.

New writers: please ensure that you check your stories for typos, spelling, and grammar errors before submitting them to the publication.
We have some volunteering editors who can perform a proof-reading for the writers from the non-English speaking background. You can search for volunteers from our Slack channel. One of the proof-reading tools our writers recommend is Grammarly.
