Creating Synergy for Writers
1062 writers joined and are supporting ILLUMINATION!

Synergy is what happens when one plus one equals ten or a hundred or even a thousand! It’s the profound result when two or more respectful human beings determine to go beyond their preconceived ideas to meet a great challenge. — Stephen Covey

As mentioned in my bulletin related to our diversity mission yesterday, we have now 1000+ writers creating stories for ILLUMINATION. I want to touch on synergy briefly, which is another value and mission for us to accomplish.
I noticed that several writers are collaborating and creating new stories with prompts. The stories created with prompts are getting more and more popular as each writer adds his or her perspective to the prompt. Those stories turn into synergistic outcomes.
We can create synergy by extending and enhancing stories that we read. During my interviews, I noticed that writers enjoy comments on their stories from their readers. They find the comments valuable and desirable. Leaving comments is one of the practical approaches for creating synergy.
Our daily distribution list is another tool that we use to create synergy for our writers. Many writers mentioned that they find our distribution list easy to connect with other writers and gain better visibility to their stories on a daily basis. I will introduce several new tools to create synergy among our writers in my upcoming bulletins. I will also add the ideas to our Slack channel, which has now 274 members.
I continued interviewing our writers and completed a few more today. You can find the writer interviews from the attached story.
What did ILLUMINATION writers create today?
Our writers created many eclectic stories today. We try a new technique to engage our writers in the curation process. Our writers comment on our curation list and our readers enjoy their input. Attached is a list of stories we created on ILLUMINATION today.
