Country People Have Higher Levels of Brain Activity and Behavior than City People
A short story from a mental health worker

Before I begin, I’ll say that I began this story long before I read the following story release:
So, country living is definitely the most independent thing a person can do. Now, with the title of this story, I’m not referring to those kids who have tried to rebel from country living or who have not put forth much value towards the life. I’m talking about those that make the choice to live the great life. And it’s a rough life, but they thrive.
Secondly, in the city there is more pollution in the air than trees on city streets can fight off in the time it takes for it to get in the heads of the people. And all those electric waves! Our brain has its own electric waves and they need to be left alone. Brain waves are oscillating electrical voltages in the brain measuring just a few millionths of a volt. Metabolic disorders of monoamine neurotransmitters in the brain are caused by electric waves — like in hospitals.
As many of you already knew, when we say “Higher Levels of Brain Activity and Behavior” we are not saying “intelligence”. Although our environment can determine a lot about our intelligence, there have been many city people who has done well for themselves. And there are some country people who have not lived up to their stereotypes.
Green
The green of the land is healing. Just looking at greenery does it for me. It tricks my brain. The green of the land is nutrition for the brain.

Nature promotes independence.
Nature promotes maturity.
Nature promotes strength.
Nature promotes longevity.
Nature promotes family life.
The city is the place where human resources exist as a sole job. And where everything is meant to serve me — I get served everywhere I go! It’s called “customer service”. Companies fight to show me the best time as if I were a king. Now, rich city people? They essentially have modern-day slaves.
Nature promotes everything sexy. Because only the best do well. It’s natural selection at its best. The country is where women really get their pick of men (we just have men running to cities these days and there’s not a lot to choose from). Men can’t really fake good country living.
I believe if we did not have any apartments in cities and it was just basic to own a home that is not within a half a football field from another, that families will develop better. Kids will be more attached to families, subconsciously. I’ve lived in apartments and I’ve lived in the hills. I hate apartments for many reasons. Dog abuse is like wildfire there. And keeping children like a schoolhouse does. A home where there’s no room to run and if you do, the person or family below you complains. Kids and dogs need land.
In the below article, it talks about how home sizes have been getting smaller:
https://eyeonhousing.org/2014/09/how-many-homes-fit-on-a-football-field/
Apartments are cages that are meant to make the landlord rich. Think about it. If you can get people stacked on top of each other, you can quadruple your revenue. More people = more money. Living on top of each other has nothing to do with success, quality, family, or health. And medium-size breed dogs need off-leash exercise. Humans can’t run as fast as they need to, to be healthy. It’s animal abuse. Dogs need some sprint exercises. There are some people who run their dog, yes, but it’s 10% of dogs.
As people can see from that article above, we are being sold something that was not normal. My house does not belong right next to someone else’s. My dog does not need to be in an inhumane cage back behind my house, because my house is too small for 3 accidental kids, much less a dog, too.
Higher Brain Activity in Cities
Who do we see that get enough space in cities, as children, to excel and grow? I can think of many. These are children whose parents gave them the world. The children who experienced a bit of everything, sports, theater, dance, hiking, camping, government, clubs, and even learning ABOUT therapy from accredited therapists on their off time. Parental connections and social skills are great for child development.
