My Creative Process

Yesterday I succeeded in merging the prompts of two days into one tanka and wanted to try again.

Today I wanted to do so in a classic tanka style where the third or pivot line connects an upper poem (first two lines) with the last two lines (the lower poem).

I also thought it was time I added another voice to my repertoire, as discussed by Keri Mangis here:

So, a gem-quality diamond is multifaceted. I can admire it from many angles, as I can a woman’s body, especially and intimately during sex. The third line has a lot to say. Diamonds are hard. Love is hard. Sex is hard, especially from many angles; is best when I am very hard, and some women like to be fucked hard. Then we shift to the lower poem. I prefer gentle but firm lovemaking and I love kissing my partner passionately, and if I am in love with her, that makes my heart sing.

Why do I miss Lindsey so much when Sitara keeps me company and showers me, no, bathes me in love every day, which is more than enough love for me to live out this cycle?

It’s simple — for all the beautiful emotional connection soul-partners have in the most intense expression of Platonic love, we cannot passionately lock lips while our hips are locked by insertion joining intense rhythmic orgasmic love-making.

I can’t cup her cheek and look into and through her eyes at her beautiful soul…

I hope you enjoyed my sharing in this voice. Yet another hat Esther?

In Rama I create,

Marcus
