Spring, Spring — Opening Flowers — Green Budding Trees — Beautiful Sights.

We started our spring contest for the first time in Dancing Elephants Press this year. The idea come from a collaboration with DR Rawson - The Possibilist.

We have received some amazing submissions for the contest. It was a hard decision who to pick for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Ultimately we are all in agreement for the first place and then I decided that I wanted to do more. DR Rawson - The Possibilist offered to sponsor out 1st place with $25. I have decided to match his $25 with another $25 for a second and third place and for an honorary pick. This way the prizes will total $50. I loved the articles so much and the time and effort the amazing writers put into these articles.

💖💖1st Place for the Spring 2023 Contest is Yana Bostongirl’s article Spring time is for decluttering physical and mental space. You can read Yana’s amazing article below. Yana received 64 comments on this article which is amazing.

Spring season is oftentimes viewed as a time for renewal, reinvigoration, and personal growth. I like to think of spring as a time for tending our personal garden and a time to shed the skin of the old you and be reborn in sync with this season where the circle of life is starting anew.” Yana Bostongirl

Congratulations Yana for being the winner and thank you for participating in the Spring 2023 Contest with Dancing Elephants Press. Your reward $25.

“It’s a true symphony of audible uniqueness. Birds appear at backyard feeders; it is so good to see them again. They too have babies, and you can watch as they begin to teach those youngsters how to fly.” Terry Day

💝💝3rd place was a split choice as we could not decide amongst the amazing articles between Joyce Nielsen and Sanghita Pal. Congratulations to both amazing writers. Thank you for participating and your reward will be $5 each.

“My forest provided a home for squirrels, raccoons, skunks, possums, and chipmunks. They were my neighbors and wild friends. Whitetail deer lived in the woods. The spotted fawns were so cute. If I chanced upon a nest, I left them alone.” by Joyce Nielsen

“Spring beacons hope inviting us back to nature, fills our sails with warmer winds and lifts our spirits. It brings joy and happiness to everyone’s heart, as it is the season of festivals and weddings.” Sanghita Pal

💝💝An honorary mention will be our 4th place is Purbita Chakraborty. I loved this article and the beauty and honesty that comes through. Thank you Purbita for participating. Your reward will be $5.

“We didn’t have a lot of wealth, we didn’t have a lot of material comfort, and we rarely ate out. When you don’t have much, these small tidbits can seem delicious and precious.” Purbita Chakraborty

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you for everybody who participated and entered the contest. Summer contest begins on the 22nd. We hope to see many wonderful articles.

Thank you for reading,

Gabriella
