Comment Etiquette
Do you wanna understand or do you just wanna BITCH?
Your point of view is valid…it’s yours.
But ‘bitching’ refers to someone who speaks with no intent in responding, listening or understanding another person’s point of view.
Are you the type of commenter that gives scathing comments and does not reply to the author’s response?
I’d be remiss if I didn’t inform you of ‘comment’ etiquette :
When you leave a long-ass comment or a scathing negative criticism on an author’s page. That’s totally okay.
Diversity is the linchpin of a forward-thinking civilization…no one is required to think the same and I respect opposing views.
However, if you don’t reply to the author about YOUR concerns, your comment is only considered ‘bitching’.
Do you wanna understand or do you just wanna BITCH? (#troll)
When you don’t reply to me addressing YOUR concerns to your long-ass essay comments or negative reviews…
It feels like you just took a huge verbal shit in my comment section and refused to clean it up.
It’s so rude.
I love long-ass comments but if you don’t have any interest in continuing this conversation or understanding me, don’t bother leaving one…Cuz honestly, what’s the point if you have no intention of listening to my reply?
Do unto others what you want to be done to you.
P.S Never highlight every line of someone's article. Although I have mixed feelings about it because it’s a compliment… many writers complain about it. Pick 3–5 lines or paragraphs that resonate with you.
