Are you a new or existing writer on Medium who would like to get more views on the stories you write?

Well, today wouldn’t be Monday, if I wasn’t presenting writers with another creative promotional opportunity, and a way to gain more readers.

Actually, although I wrote and published this story on a Monday — The Fourth of July to be exact — it doesn’t matter what day it happens to be, when it comes to promoting stories.

My mind is always thinking of creative ways to get more eyeballs on my current portfolio of nearly 800 stories.

In previous stories, I’ve designated myself as the “queen of self promotion” and I proudly stand by that title.

In keeping with my ongoing mission of shedding some extra light on other Medium writers besides myself, I’m about to embark on a new Twitter promotional project, not just for me, but for some of you writers out there also.

This particular promo feature is specific to my Daily Justiss publication. That means that the opportunity will be OPEN TO ALL WRITERS, and not limited to just fiction writers or subscribers of the Exposure Newsletter.

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the past few weeks, focusing almost exclusively on fiction writers, and content about fiction writing on Medium.

But I haven’t forgotten about all the other awesome writers on Medium, who like to share non-fiction stories and personal thoughts and experiences.

In case anyone has forgotten, here are just TEN of the PREVIOUS ways that I used to promote my fellow Medium writers.

These FREE promotional opportunities for writers and their stories, were available to anyone, simply by request.

Take a peek at the related stories and notice what kind of benefits you and your stories could have been receiving.

No — these particular promotions and features are no longer available, but that gives you a good idea of how committed I can be to helping other writers shine.

Twitter is a great playground for writers

As you will see, when you check out some of the above promos I’ve done for writers, I’m a fan of posting Tweets, as a way to stir up a few views.

While I don’t really interact with the other social media sites, I do tend to pop in and out on Twitter, and I’m slowly but surely starting to build a bigger following.

That brings us to my upcoming promo activities, because they relate directly to Twitter.

I currently use a website that allows me set up automatic tweets, so they post on Twitter, at whatever time and day that I designate.

I once wrote about this cool resource in the past, and although I joined their affiliate program so I could earn money from MY REFERRAL LINK; eventually, I stopped actively using them for a while.

The affiliate program never gained me any commissions to speak of, but I DEFINITELY get more traffic to my Medium stories, both from members and external views.

Think about where you want to spend your time promoting stories outside the Medium platform. When you do, remember that Twitter is a great playground for writers, and writers are readers.

Posting auto tweets is just another one of those smart ideas that we take advantage of for a time, but eventually forget about using.

I’m about to remedy that…

Final Thoughts

In the coming weeks, as a way of getting a fresh crop of readers to some of my previously published stories, I plan to set up a ton of auto tweets.

How would you like to get in on some of this action?

If you’d like me to promote one of your stories and put it on auto tweet, here’s what to do:

  1. Follow me on Twitter @Goodewriter
  2. Send me an EMAIL containing your Twitter handle and a link to the Medium story you’d like to promote. MAIL TO:[email protected]
  3. OPTIONAL: Indicate the day of week and/or time of day you’d like to have your tweet run.

Since I’ll be busy as a beaver, making sure to set up my own tweets on a regular basis, I’ll already be in high promotion mode!

When I get your emails, I’ll be sure to:

  • Follow all those who send requests, and tweet a live greeting
  • Set up an auto tweet, containing a brief comment, and a link to your story

Final Thoughts

As of right now, I’m not sure how long this particular promotion will go on, but I’ll start setting things up really soon, so make sure to take advantage of this offer.

Remember:

  • Any Medium member is eligible, no matter what type of stories you write
  • You MUST be sure to follow @Goodewriter on Twitter
  • You MUST make your request via Email — NOT in a response

I look forward to hearing from those of you, smart enough to take advantage of a good thing, especially when it doesn’t cost a thing.
