Are you looking for the right affiliate program to promote with very little effort?

There are a lot of new online affiliates among us, here in the Medium community, and some may be seeking advice on affiliate marketing programs.
Just like the need for advice about writing on Medium is always at the top of a Medium writer’s list; affiliate marketers are focused on how to earn money from profitable affiliate products and services.
I’ve been writing and earning money online for more than two decades, and once upon a time, one of the primary ways I did that was by promoting various affiliate products.
That is why I want to share the details about one particular affiliate service that I recognize as one of the more profitable and easier ways to earn referral income.
- In this story, I’ll share with you:
- The name and description of the affiliate program and service
- Why it’s a good and beneficial service to promote on Medium
- How you can also take advantage of the free service, while you easily promote it and get paid for referrals.
After you read all the details about this cool affiliate product that you’re going to fall in love with using, you can go right to their website, sign up, and start taking advantage of this useful story promotion service.
Keep reading — here it is.
How to Promote Your Stories for Free
The affiliate product is actually a social media marketing tool, provided by a company called:” Pensignal” and the owner appears to be a Medium member also.
That’s what’s so cool about the tool; it’s set up to function in a way that is convenient and advantageous to Medium story writers. You’ll notice this below, when you learn about the product and see the automated text that the service generates.
Of course, as a social media tool, you can schedule tweets to promote any of your writing platforms, not just Medium. But for purposes of this story, we’ll concentrate solely on the benefits to Medium writers.
First, here is the link to SIGN UP for the Signal marketing tool, after you finish learning more from the details below. THIS IS AN AFFILIATE LINK.
Now, here are the highlights about this money-making affiliate service and what you can expect from it.
ABOUT THE SERVICE BENEFITS
- This affiliate tool enables Medium writers to create tweets that can be scheduled in advance. The automatic tweets are called Signals.
- A FREE service is available, however it does not allow for unlimited use, like the paid service does.
- A paid service is available for $6.99 (monthly) and it allows unlimited use of the service — meaning: the ability to schedule as many tweets as you want to, whenever you want to, for as long as you want to.
- Paid members are eligible to grab the affiliate link and earn $3.49 for referring new members.
Even before you consider selecting this service as an affiliate opportunity, you can see the potential benefits to you as a Medium writer.
Imagine writing several tweets about one or more of your stories, then setting them to go off at a scheduled day and time, just like an alarm clock.
With the free Signal service, you can do this a selected number of times every day — completely free.
But suppose you’re a prolific writer like I am, and you have tons of stories that you want to schedule in the same manner, not just one or two. You’ll definitely find that it’s well worth it, to pay the $6.99 a month for endless tweets.
For instance, when I’m done publishing this story, I plan to set it on automatic pilot and let it run 3 times a day — INDEFINITELY! For me, and writers just like me, signing up for the paid service was a no brainer, but even if you use the free service, it is still wise to try the service yourself.
The wisdom is in the fact that you can talk to others with confidence, when mentioning the affiliate product. So that’s the benefit of this particular service.
Will you feel comfortable promoting a product?
As you can clearly see, the Signal service is one that you can feel comfortable supporting and mentioning to writers.
It is a useful service and you don’t even have to push them on it. They can try the free service and make their own decision to upgrade.
To help you get a visual of how easy the service is to use, notice the following screenshot of my own user dashboard. I have the paid membership, and I’ve used it to schedule at least 100 of my stories.
The tweets continue to go off, day or night, and they are the reason I get quite a bit of external traffic to my stories.
NOTICE the information you can have automatically post with your tweeted story, simply by inserting the “Article link”. You also have the option to omit any part of this automated text, and just type whatever you want.

Then, all you do is schedule when you want it to run, and how many times a day (up to 3 times daily if you select every 8 hours).
NOTE: One thing I made the mistake of doing when I scheduled my tweets, was to assume that only non Medium members would be reading the tweets, so I included a lot of “friend links” (which don’t pay).
Now I believe that was a mistake, but it’s not an easy call. You have to decide for yourself, if you want to risk bringing people to your story and them not being able to read it behind the “pay wall.”
But whatever you decide, you can easily see how this affiliate product can benefit you, as a service, and as an affiliate product.
Final Thoughts
Before you decide to settle on this affiliate program, or any affiliate program, make sure that the product or service is one you’ll be comfortable in promoting. Just focus on these three points when making a decision.
- Think about the useful benefits that the affiliate service provides
- Remember the wisdom in using either the paid or free service yourself
- Recall the five questions you need to ask yourself about selecting an affiliate product, or service.
