Come and Sing Along With Us…
Music counts, speaks and matters — Curving your soul’s arch

“Without music, life would be a mistake.”― Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols
In 2020, I have fallen in love with my iPod. I gifted it to myself in 2017 and didn’t make much use of it. This year when I am unable to go out frequently I realized my iPod is still waiting for me to set my feet on fire. I added my favorite songs and started running like a pro. I dance too whenever I feel overwhelmed that’s my way to deal with the atrocities of life.
As I am writing this newsletter, I want to thank you all who didn’t let Music Voices vanish in the thin air. You guys kept on sharing your heart-out here and for that, we as a community appreciate your kind-hearted gesture and love. The publication was neglected for a while but not anymore. We are back in the full throttle.
Although I have been missing out on attending Live Concerts and free governmental music shows in the stadium, I got myself my first Bluetooth Speaker from Panasonic on my birthday. I play music on it like a demon from the past.
My question to you:
Are you reliving the magic of music in any form at the comfort of your home? How are you overcoming this not-so-feeling-great vibes of going out to your favorite bars and live Rockstar’s concerts? What keeps your toes still dancing in 2020?

I hope you all will still contribute to helping Music Voices stay alive and grow. And to help revive Music Voices, I would like to launch a monthly writing prompt.
I will choose the first writing prompt theme to start the rhythm. The top three prompt responses will be chosen based on the number of claps the prompt piece will have received and the writer with the most claps will have the honor to choose the next month’s music writing theme.
Music Voices — October 2020 Writing Prompt:
- Share with us your favorite song in your mother-tongue.
- Choose your musician.
Each contribution should include, at the bottom, a link to this prompt at as well as three mandatory tags: ‘Music’, ‘Music Voices’, and ‘Writing Prompts’.
The published responses for the monthly prompts will appear in the “Prompting Rhymes” sections.
