Bring Internal Traffic To Your Dead Blogs On Medium
Get your dead blogs noticed — follow 4 steps

Sigh! My heart was crying…
Those 3 blog posts didn’t perform well on Medium…
So, I had two options: Either to mourn or do something about it.
I chose the latter, and the technique I used worked!
I’m sure you must have a couple of blog posts that just didn’t get well-deserved attention.
Let me share how I got my blog post noticed on Medium.
Step no 1: Write a detailed blog post to support your dead post
Choose a topic that revolves around your dead posts.
Suppose you’ve written two posts related to passive income. Both of them aren’t performing well. Now to get the traffic, write a detailed post about your journey and make your dead posts shine there. Let me show you an example:

Here you can see that I’ve included my other posts to get the traffic.
BTW, if you’re wondering which post it is, check it out:
Step no 2: Make your post look like a problem solver
It’s our mistake just to link our posts without any defined context.
Placing your other post link won’t change anything for you. I did this mistake, and now I realize…

Now, look at my second picture. Instead of throwing the links, I’ve stated how this blog will solve your specific problem.

See the difference?
The readers are always looking for a problem solver. Your blog post will definitely get noticed if you can position yourself as one!
Step no 3: Write for a publication
It’s not only about telling your story.
It is about getting it heard!
Publications are the best way to get noticed on Medium.
But, how do you write for a publication?
It’s actually very simple. Find a publication on Medium related to your blog post and pitch them!
But you can’t just send your post everywhere! You need to research and find relevant publications related to your topic. Then write for them with a defined context of how it will help their readers solve their problem.
I did the same thing… And gladly, publication recommended my content to Medium. This means my blog got chosen for further distribution.
Step no 4: Promote your blog posts via responses
When a person comments on your blog post, just don’t stop there and say Thank you only.
Reply with an interesting answer. Say thank you to the person yet recommend them your another blog
For example, I’ve written this post for getting traffic and referrals to my blog posts on Medium, so please give it a read if you find it helpful. Here’s the link: (insert your published content)
This way, people will start engaging in conversation with you, and most probably, they’ll visit your other blog posts as well.
