Connecting the Dots in Writing

What is your purpose in life?

This may not be a question you have answered yet.

It also may be an answer you have known your entire life.

What I know is that as I learn, I feel compelled to share. I want anyone who is paying attention to learn whatever is applicable from me.

Maybe this is one reason I LOVE to write.

If you would like a brief overview of my life, please see Introduction to Stacy Belinsky.

Like many, my life’s waves push me up or bring me down.

A few years ago, while trying to ride the waves and move up, I was lucky. The group I volunteered to be a part of included members willing to LISTEN and make sure they could HEAR me.

This is my absolute favorite piece of writing, and Medium curators thought well of it at the time, too. “Finding My Voice When I’m Not Sure Who Wants To Hear Me” is about what I did with the struggle and how I pushed forward.

Do you feel this personally, too?

Since July 2019 I have known that I would be a part of Sva Sadhana. According to the website, “This experience provides the tools for self-exploration, growth, and transformation within the supportive container of a community.”

While I knew about and practiced some yoga, it’s the combination with the Ayurveda that became my GAME CHANGER, and what I consider my best and most important stories, along with the previously mentioned titles.

What I want you to notice first in How I Accidentally Became a Vegan Eater is the food choices I have known for about 50 years.

Yes, I am THAT old (or young, depending on your perspective).

In the same way I had a challenge with Finding my Voice, I also have daily methods of operation challenges. Thanks to Ayurveda, my Sva Sadhana instructor (Kara Aubin), and a Spring (food-based) Cleanse, one of my GREATEST challenges reduced in size, along with my pants and shirts.

I think it is humorous to go from what I did to where I am in LESS THAN FOUR MONTHS.

How do you relate to this story?

The next two continue the exploration.

First, it is about REACHING. This is where my determination to share shows up the most.

Many times in life, I could see or hear something “above” me. Without a path or a guide, even with the effort, I feel like I have fallen short of where I could be.

The Spring Cleanse inspired me to dig deeper and write “Reaching the Next Level in Life IS Possible, Although It May Not Be Easy or Quick.”

Are you on this path?

Finally, is the concept of “Going Home, And Living An Intentional Life.

During my participation in the Spring Cleanse, we discussed how the simplicity of the cleanse (food menu, no or low technology use, relaxation) allowed us to be closer to our “home.”

In other words, the “extras” added layers in many ways.

The cleanse was a way to deep process and reduce many of the “extras.”

After that experience, I have struggled with what to add back to my life.

What would you do?
