In previous years, we saw a lot of hype surrounding cryptocurrencies, web3, NFTs, and other scammy sectors that offered little value. But this year is a bit different.
First, GPT-3 was launched, which has changed the way we work for the better. Soon, other AI tools followed suit, many of which were based on the OpenAI API.
There’s no doubt that these AI tools are changing the way we work across different sectors. For instance, tools like Durable, Mixo, and Butternut can build websites in seconds, while Wonder Dynamics can automatically animate, light, and compose CG characters into a live-action scene.
Meanwhile, many reputable companies like Canva, Adobe, and Microsoft Edge have integrated AI into their tools.
At the same time, a GitHub repo was released that can autonomously achieve whatever goal you set. In one of my previous posts, I explained what AutoGPT is and how you can set it up.
Now, let’s take a look at some of its best use cases and what it can do.

On Twitter, Karan Doshi explained how he utilized AutoGPT to automate a task. To be more specific, he created an “intern” that is capable of working independently once it is given some instructions.
This intern is able to identify all the tables in your database and automatically generate SQL queries, which can save a lot of time and effort for a programmer. Moreover, this intern can also send notifications on your Slack channels to keep you updated on its progress.
It’s important to note that by creating an intern on AutoGPT, a programmer can unlock endless opportunities to streamline their work and improve their productivity.
The intern can work for you non-stop, 24 hours a day, which means you can focus on other important tasks without worrying about mundane or repetitive work.

In my previous post, I told AutoGPT to browse the web to discover the next upcoming event and invent a unique and original recipe that would suit it.
Here’s the goal which I told it to do.
And here is the result:
Recipe: Lemon Berry Crostini with Goat Cheese
Ingredients: -1 baguette, sliced into crostini rounds -4 oz goat cheese, softened -2 tbsp honey -1 tbsp fresh lemon juice -1/4 cup mixed berries (such as raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries) -1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place the baguette rounds onto a large baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy, about 6–8 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened goat cheese with honey and lemon juice. Dip each crostini round into the goat cheese mixture.
3. Top the crostini with mixed berries and chopped mint.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious, unique Easter recipe!

3. AutoGPT can do AI-Powered Research
Zahid, who is an AI educator shared on Twitter an interesting use case for Auto-GPT. He assigned this AI tool to conduct product research and write a summary of the best headphones currently available in the market.
The AI tool was instructed to provide a comprehensive analysis of each product, including its pros, cons, and price. As anticipated, Auto-GPT was successful in generating a report on the top 5 headphones that met the given criteria.
This shows how AI tools like Auto-GPT can assist in streamlining the research process and providing quick, accurate results.

4. It can build a website in just 3 minutes
Sully Omarr recently shared an interesting use case of AutoGPT on Twitter.
He used this AI tool to build a website using Next.js and TailwindCSS. To accomplish this task, he instructed AutoGPT to perform several steps, including opening the index.js file, locating the section where the form belongs, writing the necessary code, testing it thoroughly, and submitting the solution.
Remarkably, AutoGPT was able to complete the entire coding process autonomously within just three minutes. This demonstrates the potential of AI tools to streamline the web development process, making it faster and more efficient.

Discord is my go-to communication platform for collaborating with my team. It’s versatile and supports various forms of communication. However, what if I could also use it to automate my work? It seems possible.
SOL Decoder on Twitter shared an intriguing solution.
Anyone may ask the bot a question and develop AI “agents” that can act independently and carry out tasks on their behalf by adding AutoGPT / BabyAGI to their Discord server.
With the help of these intelligent agents, anyone can delegate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, freeing up more time to focus on more important work.
6. Can automate your podcast creation with AutoGPT
Even AutoGPT has the remarkable ability to create podcasts without any human intervention.
To put it simply, it can browse through the latest events and prepare an outline for a podcast episode. Specifically, in just five searches and 15 web browsing sessions, the AutoGPT research agent can prepare a five-topic podcast episode that covers the latest news, complete with accurate references and a captivating opening.
