Before writing every story, a writer has some thoughts about it in his mind. They make assumptions about how their story will perform and what it will achieve.

It’s good to have a goal for every story, but it’s only good when you complete the goal. Otherwise, it will hurt you emotionally when you don’t get what you tried to achieve.

Most of the time, you will face failure because no one can control the algorithm. Sometimes, you would think that your story will go viral. But after publishing it, you see that it doesn’t even get the attention it deserved. While sometimes, you would be expecting nothing from a story but it will surprise you by going viral without any reason.

And for a writer, it’s so much demotivation when he hopes for a story to do better. But after publishing it, he gets disappointed. It demotivates the writer so much that he starts thinking about leaving writing forever. Or sometimes, it makes him a perfectionist who doesn’t click the publish button and tries to make the story perfect. — You can also read how being a perfectionist destroys your entrepreneurship journey.

So, what’s the solution? It’s simple, think like all your stories are gonna go viral after four months of writing it. It works in two ways. It’s also a mindset to avoid negativity and write more without facing any kind of demotivation. While it’s also a reality that your stories can get viral after four months.

When you write a story while keeping this mindset, you will not get demotivated even if your story doesn’t perform well. Because you will be thinking that it will start performing after four months. And if it also doesn’t perform after four months, you won’t notice it because you will not even remember it.

Writing with this mindset also has some other advantages. It can boost your motivation when your thought becomes a reality. Because it’s also possible that many of your stories start going viral after four months.

I am saying this because it happened to me many times. Many of my stories have started getting some attention that I had written in the past. Even some stories that didn’t get any single view previously.

Final thoughts

When you try to achieve something. First of all, you have to train your mind for that thing. Because it’s the mind that’s helping you make the decisions and new ideas. So, if you want to achieve something, you need a clear mind because an anxious mind won’t get you anywhere.

Always try making your mind fresh and clear, even if you have to cheat your brain for that. If cheating your brain helps you achieve motivation and also helps you achieve success in your entrepreneurship journey with rapid growth. Then you should definitely try it.
