A Writer to be Revered

With great pleasure, I feature the work of Reverie (and others for good measure)

My fellow editors often create collections of stories found within the pages of ILLUMINATION. I like to bring writers to the attention of our readers for their exemplary work published elsewhere. I think sometimes our own editors need a reminder that Illumination Integrated Publications is not a cult. See Markus Scorelius

Here are previous collections I curated:

Multiple writers

Ravyne Hawke

Daniel A. Teo

Esther George

Timothy O’Neill (there are several — untagged here for a reason you will see in a moment).

I include that feature of Timothy O’Neill despite the fact that he out-of-the-blue blocked me several months ago — fabulous artists and their temperaments. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️I still love you Tim. In this lifetime and many others.

I will get to Reverie’s work soon — she will love this piece by White Feather.

Before we entered physicality, we were spiritual entities. An entity is an individual piece of God. The original All That Is, or the original creator of our universe, or the original one-ness, or God, was a bored and lonely God, who split itself up into many, many pieces. This gave that original God, not only companionship, but a way to experience the universe it created. The plan called for each of these entities to individuate into their own fully-realized Gods, capable of all things the original God was capable of. This original God did not just want entities that it could lord over. It wanted Gods that it could co-create with.

The process of individuation cannot be complete, however, until the entity experiences physicality. After all, physicality is part of the universe just like all the other dimensions. This was the tricky part of the individuation process. Luckily, there was a certain planet designed specifically to facilitate this portion of the individuation process. It is a very magnetic planet that eventually draws to it every entity that is ready to finish the individuation process. It is called planet Earth.

Linear time as we experience it here in physicality does not exist outside of that physicality. It is unique to our dimension. Outside of physicality, there is only the ETERNAL NOW…

everything is happening RIGHT NOW!

That last quote from White Feather ties nicely into Reverie’s magnificent story that she published today:

And not only do you not need to wait, you cannot wait. Your life is happening now. In the present moment. All that you ever experience, is now. And now. And now. You cannot live in the future. You can aim for the future, you can try to plan for it, try to predict it, but you can only ever experience now. The only happiness and peace there is to find, is found now. And now. The only time that exists, is now.

Reverie’s philosophy on acceptance aligns very much with my own — acceptance does not mean that one should accept an unacceptable situation as permanent.

Those 109 words contain a lifetime’s worth of wisdom and lessons. They perfectly explain the oft-misunderstood meaning of the Serenity Prayer. If you desire to change the world, great, I sure do. Acceptance does not mean turn the other cheek regarding either a person or the world. It means, in this respect, do not let the situation eat you up inside.

I can solve any personal problem I face, no matter how dire, simply with a change in attitude.

Here is another stellar work by Reverie:

I know that Reality can be observed and described in many different ways. Science is one of them. Mathematics is another. Music is another. Art is another. Dance is another. Philosophy is another. Storytelling is another. Etc. They all describe the endless permutations of this great effervescence we call Reality or The Cosmos or Life or God or The Universe.

There is no separation between what scientists observe as “material reality” and “the spirit”. They are the same. Everything is spirit/energy/vibration, and everything is part of the matrix of consciousness.

That piece by Reverie inspired this from me:

The other areas that Reverie and I each seek to marry are spirituality and sexuality. Reverie writes in

Sex is the most spiritual act I have ever engaged in, and the most profound. For true lovers, sex can be a path to enlightenment. I believe this is why many religions around the world have sought to control and limit the free expression of sexual love, as it has the power to destabilise dogmatic ideas about the way to reach spiritual fulfillment.

I agree:

As does Kim Petersen

As of course does my combination muse and mentee Esther, to whom I am tethered to in the saddle from half a world away:

I hope you actually hit the links and take the time to read all of these tremendous works of art.

In Rama I create,

Marcus
