No need for tech skills, too!
Fiverr is an amazing site and from time to time, I sell services, starting at $5 per gig. I took a break from Fiverr and came back on the site last year, and the only services I could post were 2 gigs due to a system glitch 6 months ago.
I never bothered to add more gigs but these 2 gigs are making me money! I charge more than $5 and my average price is about $17.
With so money categories, how can you choose? If you are not a technical person and I am not, where can you post some easy gigs that are not only fun but can earn you money, too!
This category is often overlooked by new sellers because it is not always so obvious. To find this, log onto Fiverr, go to the Lifestyle category and choose Travel.
This section has many sellers offering a variety of gigs which is specific to the country where they live. One seller in Indonesia is offering to buy an online item for buyers from the Indonesian marketplace.
Previously, I saw sellers selling country-specific candies from places like Japan! So if your country sells unique hand-crafted items or interesting candies, sell them on Fiverr. You can also sell handmade items like jewelry, too.
Selling Your Knowledge
If you live in travel destinations that are popular with tourists, (Hawaii, Amsterdam, Africa, Toronto, Los Angeles, etc) offer to provide a travel itinerary that covers their favorite places. One seller from Italy is doing just that. Another seller is offering to take pictures of city life in Hong Kong.
Another seller has completed 29 gigs offering to do travel research; there’s a quick-thinking seller from Turkey, who has 16 completed gigs under his belt and offers to do any kind of research about his country.
There is an endless list of travel-related gigs that you can post. Take a moment to explore this amazing site.
When I used to own a travel blog, I offered to add in someone’s affiliate Amazon link and also offered someone a chance to do a guest post. Did I do any work? I just clicked on a few links and pasted an ad and made some bucks!
After completing a few gigs, I managed to make level 1 seller status pretty quickly. You can experiment with your gigs until you find the one that makes you more money. I had more than 5 gigs posted until I settled for just a few gigs that are virtual assistant and project research. Occasionally, I get requests to do someone’s homework or college assignments, and I always decline those. Yes, there is a market for research gigs that are actually someone’s homework. But I figure students should do it themselves if they want to get the benefit of their education.
