“Look at the rainbow, it is made up of different colors, yet they do not split, because they know how beautiful they are when they stick together.” — Michael Bassey Johnson

Did you see a rainbow this year?

I did not!

I kept looking upwards at the sky but the rainbow did not come. Yet I looked up! Maybe it will come one day.

It is eluding me. I have hope and I am waiting

The picture above is my prize for looking up at the rainbow last year. look at the merging colors.

Whenever I feel that there are too many challenges in my life and I have to overcome them I look at the rainbow picture and hope with positivity take over.

I smile and nature inspires me. The rainbow is magic in my life. It gives me a feeling of hope, brightness, and happiness.

How do you feel about a rainbow? Do you feel the magic of hope and positivity too?

I love the myriad of colors. Each color has a meaning in it. I found it like a flag flying in the air from the sky showing the way to move ahead with grace, beauty, and happiness.

These are the colors of the rainbow. ROYGBIV. We can break it as ROY G BIV and in brief give their meanings:

  1. Red- Life, love, passion
  2. Orange- Healing — Friendliness
  3. Yellow- sunlight
  4. Green- nature
  5. Blue- Art, peace, relaxation.
  6. Indigo- Harmony
  7. Violet- spirit

“When beauty is seen through the windows of the soul — rainbows appear and everything is magical. It feels simply divine.”

-Angie Karan

This week let us think of rainbows in our life. What is our perspective of a rainbow? How do you feel when you see a rainbow?

What are your thoughts when you look at a rainbow? Do you feel happy? Are you sad? Is it magical to see a rainbow?

Do you find any particular color of the rainbow magical?

While we talk of rainbows it does not deter anyone to write about their perspectives on nature. You are all free to write whatever you want to write about nature.

This week's posts on Inspirations From Nature

Let us now see the beautiful posts that I received last week on nature. I was so heartened to see such wonderful posts.

Is there anyone who does not like nature? Read the perspectives of the writers in the posts below.

While each post that I read was according to me the best but the most popular post among all was by Marianne O. She lives in San Francisco. Living in the city she speaks about nature in her life. She speaks about how she restores herself by trekking in a busy city and taking time off to smell the roses.

Marianne O The most popular post about nature. Thank you Marianne for your thoughts.

Sahil Patel : This is a beautiful post by Sahil recalling his childhood days, spending time with his grandparents, and spending time in nature. He believes that nature is the best teacher He has learned to live in the moment and remain present. Just be still and pay close attention and focus and concentrate.

Suma Narayan : Has a wonderful lesson that she thought while seeing plants that in their brief lives, they can find so much to cheer about, so why should we whine and groan? Her thoughts permeated and n her words “the trees tittered, flowers fluttered, the wind waved, and the birds, wasps and bees brimmed over with joy.”

Life’s good, no?

James Beaufait : Welcome to Daegu in South Korea and see the sights of Buddhist monasteries, temples, and great food and build lasting relationships. You will enjoy nature as you go around.

William J Spirdione: Just see the pictures that William always clicks about his flowers and bunnies. He laughs with love in his heart when he watches the bunny scratching his ear. His spirit bounces along with the bunny.

Josephine Crispin: When I look at trees around me I am reminded of Josephine’s tree that speaks to her. I love trees and befriend them but she has actually befriended a weeping willow. Read about her experiences with it.

Jo An Fox-Wright Maddox: In this story how the challenges of nature through blizzards and cold weather became her constant friend. Her hope is always that spring cannot be behind. Bright days will come. Nature gives us hope.

Michele Maize (The Sober Vegan Yogi): In this story, Michelle draws inspiration from birds that fly above her head and make her feel free, happy, and uplifted. It resonates with me as I feel the same way when I see birds. She finds solace among birds.

Donnette Anglin : I am enamored by this story where Donnette lives in a busy city but nature gives her a lot of relief. She took beautiful pictures from her window and writes about her reflections and thoughts of the city and nature back in her home in Jamaica.

Mulan wrote this beautiful story when she traveled to Switzerland. She wrote about the scenery around Lake Hallwil where she took a walk and clicked pictures of swans and ducks and people around,

Shameem Anwar says that nature teaches us to be humble. He wrote a story about the rose and the cactus and how the rose was snobbish but ultimately the cactus saved the rose by giving it water to survive during a drought.

Pam Winter writes about her walk in the morning. She is intrigued by contrasts. In fact, she loves to compare and contrast. This is what she likes about nature. On her daily walk with her Shih-Tzu, Tucker, she loved the water sprinklers and tiny droplets of water on the surface of the grass sparkling in the sunlight like millions of tiny diamonds.

Elder Taoist writes about watching the sunrise with his wife and enjoying the sunrise by having a cup of tea together in the quiet morning. He describes the beautiful walk and the fresh morning.

Dr. Fatima Imam Is inspired by nature which helps her to give names to her fictional characters and write her beautiful stories. During Covid, she had to stop going to the gym and she realized the beauty of nature in her walks.

Wendi Gordon Writes about the butterflies and how they give life lessons. Amazing pictures of butterflies. I love butterflies too and click their pictures but these are amazing. For those who want to learn about butterflies, this is the post for you.

Suzie Alexander shares with you some features of her garden in the Pacific Northwest. Her backyard is a sanctuary from the outside world, and it creates an oasis of serenity and joy.

Many thanks to all the writers for their thoughts on how nature inspires them all.

Do think of writing about Rainbows in your life this week

There are some more nature lovers. I will tag a few. I am waiting for B.R. Shenoy, Pene Hodge, Neera Handa Dr, George J. Ziogas, David Acaster Mary Chang Story Writer, Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi, Yana Bostongirl Janet Meisel

This prompt on rainbows in your life is not limited to a few. Some I tagged last time have still to write something on nature.

I would like to thank all those who wrote about nature at my request and wish everyone to go out, look at nature and enrich me with your life experiences and beautiful photographs.

I am not used to tag-bombing people so I will just call upon all nature lovers to write and share their experiences.

Thanking my team members Sahil Patel and Yana Bostongirl for all their support and help. I call upon them at all times when I need them.

In the meantime, goodbye and stay inspired by nature.
