A Buffet Blunder

From feast to flush

Random Word Drabble Challenge Day 44 Word Is Rapidly.

Since drabbles are so short, please remain on the page for at least 30 seconds.

We sped home from the all-you-can-eat buffet rapidly.

As I parked the car, she ran inside. I knew by the smell she claimed the downstairs throne.

I took the stairs two at a time — holding the rail to avoid a fall.

I rounded the corner and slid to the seat — my pants at my feet. Was it the sushi or greasy fries our stomachs despised?

My plumbing gurgled and regurgitated before an explosion that let out only air. I sat and waited — my stomach sated.

Finally, a pebble or bean I did spill — a discouraging, bitter pill.
