Five great ILLUMINATION stories you might have missed

12,000+ Illumination stories to enjoy

I checked the counter on my Illumination ifeed web page I use to feed ILLUMINATION URLs to Google to give our publication a little more link love. I have 12,864+ links from my site to medium.com since starting the service. I know ILLUMINATION has thousands more.

The goal of Illumination ifeed is to help stories here to rise to the top of people’s online searches by having an additional website pointing to the great content that is online here.

I set the program to keep 1 million ILLUMINATION links in the database. I am confident we will achieve that goal because of the exponential growth of our publication.

SEO efforts for Illumination stories

The same is true of Publisher’s Spotlight 1.0. Authors can add their story links and write up a description to help with SEO efforts. You can even use a mobile app link as well if you’re adding from your phone.

Besides being SEO tools, I use the sites myself to find stories to read in these days when my reading and writing time must be more efficient.

I hope that my sites continue to contribute to the rocket ship success that we’ve seen ILLUMINATION achieve after starting earlier this year.

Efficient reading

I have been a little busy lately with my son’s education. He is attending school remotely, so I help the teacher by making sure he is working on his assignments and communicating. I like the set up because I’m more in tune with what my son is doing in school these days.

My time is lessened these days — but I keep up with what’s happening on ILLUMINATION.

I enjoy using the lists of Illumination ifeed which uses Medium’s RSS feed to generate a link back to your ILLUMINATION story as well as the self-curated stories submitted to Publisher’s Spotlight 1.0. to find great reads.

It keeps me in touch with the treasures of Medium and ILLUMINATION while allowing me to keep up with the duties of modern life in these days of working and learning from home.

Submit your own Illumination stories

You are welcome to submit your Medium stories at Publisher’s Spotlight 1.0 as well.

Some stories you must go read and enjoy!

I have found some stories I think you will enjoy and should read, so I’m including them here so you can find some new authors to enjoy and meet.

“Open Wide”

Diane Twineheart writes “Open Wide, A Distasteful Poem.

Diane’s fun style made me smile the whole time I was reading her writing.

I love it. It is erotic without being overtly erotic.

“The Art of Screwing”

Libby Mitchell contributes “The Art of Screwing.”

This is another fun micro fiction story that I enjoyed the whole time I read it. I think the trend for me is shorter stories just because I only get little slices here and there to read at times. I know I have had to save longer stories to read on later dates.

Libby Mitchell has sharp story telling in a concise package.

“Falling For You”

Melissa Bee shares a love poem for a waterfall with everyone in “Falling For You.” I love poetry these days and am glad to see it. Give Melissa’s poetry some love by taking some time to read and enjoy her work.

“Love Is My Answer”

Michael Thacker writes a love poem, “Love Is My Answer” and tells how he was inspired to write it. It is a writing method you might find useful. I know I’ve done similar things to gain inspiration when I’ve looked for ideas when I’ve been stuck looking for an idea or two for a story.

“If You’re Sick of Getting Rejected”

Khadejah Jones lets us in on her secret to writing engaging stories readers want to read in “If You’re Sick of Getting Rejected.”

Tell personal stories.

Go read her story and learn her techniques for grabbing readers’ attention and making them love reading your work.
