A Distasteful Poem
Your speech drips of bacon fat Praising this constant indulgence An offering to your gods Hedonism painting a picture Of us, in bed together Covered in decadent chocolate
My teeth chatter and my stomach turns
Seduction of the senses You mix pleasure into repulsion Alchemist of bloated bellies Begging for another taste Of me, but your mouth is already Full of promises you won’t keep
This melody is insatiable
As I scrape the remains of Our fate, spoiled, I know the truth Is much less desirable For my decadent flavour is not To be devoured but savoured So let’s close our mouths
And stop spreading our thighs
