Falling For You
A Poem About A Waterfall

I see your drop,
Hundreds of feet from the top,
You're an eye magnet,
A flowing blanket-
A beauty that never stops.
Can I stay with you?
For a long time?
I’ll be true,
To your magnificent fortitude,
My sight engulfed with the view.
You drown out the bottom,
Of my worries,
With your flow,
I can think clearly now,
My heart strings you sew.
I wanted to catch your fall,
But my help isn’t needed —
You always get up,
To come back down,
And like magic — you are completed.
I can see you crashing,
Down at the bottom,
I feel your mist,
I hear the collision,
You —
Natures wonder musician.
I love to see how The Sun —
Makes you sparkle and twinkle,
Illuminating your mighty run.
How it shines light on your beauty,
I bet you two, have lots of fun.
I can’t stay here,
In admiration right now,
I have to jump into you —
Off of you —
Down with you —
Be one with you.
You’re always falling,
Pass me the baton,
Let me do the dropping,
I’m your little swan —
Happy in my writing salon.
