3 Signs You’re on the Wrong Path
The best guide isn’t outside of you

1. Every Day is a Bad Day
The universe is the best guide you will ever have on your spiritual path. When you’re unable to see the signs the universe is giving you, you’re pretty much lost.
Bad days are inevitable. We all have them. Even the most spiritually fulfilled enlightened beings will tell you some days belong in the dark and that’s normal, but what is not normal is if you’re always having a bad day! It’s an indication of a much bigger problem.
When the day is bad before you’ve even gotten out of bed and you’re struggling to get out of bed because you already know what the day is going to look like, you have things in your mind to work on.
It’s okay to wake up in a bad mood every now and then, but there’s a major problem if you’re always waking up on the wrong side of the bed ready to fight someone. It’s a problem if you wake up every day with a frown on your face.
When you're on the right path, you'll wake up on the wrong side of the bed some mornings but most mornings you will jump out of bed with a pep in your step and a huge smile on your face just because the morning is here after a dark night.
If every day you’re getting upset with everyone, then the problem is not them. The problem is you and it’s time to take accountability for your life. Until you’re done fighting with yourself and with others, you will never be able to find peace.
The world will be harder on you.
The world will demand more from you. It’ll feel like you’re swimming in rocks. Everything will be hard. Every light will turn red when you get near. Traffic will be worse than normal. Words from those you fight with will cut like a sword and your day will be hell!
You’ll always be tired. You’ll be tired of the life you’re living and you’ll be tired of being tired. You’ll always have problems to solve, hoops to jump through, and challenges to overcome. Every point you turn will be a low point.
Spirituality is about growing and evolving. It’s about becoming a little bit better every day. If every day feels like a bad day, then you must be honest with yourself and ask yourself some tough questions.
When was the last time you smiled from your heart?
No, I’m not asking you to smile all the time! Only clowns and sociopaths do that but when you’re on the right path, you’ll have plenty of reasons to smile and it'll come straight from the heart. Like when you see those magic numbers just when you were cracking a code or when a little bird fly past you and says hello or when a tree waves at you or a butterfly comes and perch on your shoulders because you’re as calm as a tree.
When you’re on the right path, smiling will come naturally.
No matter how hard this may sound, the truth is that we choose how we feel. It only takes a second for circumstances in your life to change and because your emotions do not have intellect and humans are able to self-generate thoughts and emotions, you can decide how you want to feel, and it is so.
You can decide you’re going to have a good day for once.
It's a choice.
Life is difficult, but there is always something to smile about, laugh about, dance about, jump about, rejoice about and feel good about.
This is why it's important that we check in on ourselves from time to time to see where we’re at on our path. If you don’t take the time to assess your mental health, your well-being, and your state of mind, it becomes so easy to keep going down that slippery slope.
So ask yourself, when was the last time I smiled? When was the last time I didn't fight with someone? When was the last time I woke up happy? When was the last time I had a great day? When was the last time I danced?
If every day you’re upset with someone, then the problem is not them.
2. You Ignore Your Intuition
The first feeling you have about something or someplace is usually right.
When you ask yourself all those questions above, your intuition will be fast to let you let the truth. Wait a few more minutes and your ego will say forget about that intuition.
When you're on the wrong path, you'll rely heavily on your ego and you'll ignore your intuition. You'll enter the house in the middle of nowhere when your intuition said turn around and go back home and it'll be the last day you have a bad day!
Ignoring your intuition is a wrong move. It’s a dangerous move because the universe lives in your intuition. It’s what will protect you in times of danger.
If your intuition says it doesn’t remember the last time you smiled, believe it. If your intuition says you fight with someone or something every single day, don’t fight your intuition!
Your intuition is a powerful force, and it's always right. Listen to it and it'll show you where the right path is.
The best guide isn’t outside of you. It’s what’s inside of you.
Your intuition is the thing that will lead you where you need to go. It's your built-in compass. Your inner guidance. Your own little universe. If you’re out of touch with the inner guidance or you ignore your intuition, you’re headed down a dangerous road.
Take time out to listen to yourself. Shut down the noise inside your head and tune in. Meditate.
If your intuition tells you that the path you're on is far from the right one, listen to it and turn around. Go back home!
It doesn’t matter if what your intuition tells you seems crazy, or if other people think it's crazy. It's your life and when you fall down the slippery slope and bump your head, that pain will be all yours.
This is your life, and you’re the only one who knows if you are living it right or wrong. Pay attention to that nagging feeling in your gut that tells you that you’re on the wrong path.
We are tempted to ignore our intuition out of fear. Ignoring your intuition should be a clear sign that you’re lost on the wrong path.
But how can you trust in something you can’t even see?
This is not something you're going to see with your first and second eyes. Our intuition is closely tied to our third eye. When your third eye is open, you're much more in touch with your intuition. You know when it's intuition whispering or if it's fear.
Your intuition will never make you afraid.
If your spiritual eyes are not active, you will disregard any guidance that comes through for you as woo woo. You’ll ignore your own inner guidance.
To hear your intuition better is not a matter of doing anything. It's just a matter of being still so you can hear that little inner voice. Intuition will never yell at you no matter what, so you have to be quiet to hear it.
Ignoring your intuition is a clear sign that you’re lost on the wrong path.
3. The Past Controls You
When you’re on the wrong path and manifesting a future that isn’t right, you will always look back to the past. The ego loves the past story and will bring it into every new story.
When something bad happens, it's normal to dwell on it for a month or two. It's really okay, especially when it meant a lot, but if many years have gone by and you still feel triggered when you're reminded of it, the past is controlling you and is a sure sign you’re on the wrong path.
When you’re on the wrong path, you always seem to miss what once was and have trouble looking at what’s ahead. You really believe your best days are behind you.
Memories of the past haunt you on the wrong path.
When you’re on the right path, memories of the past no longer haunt you. They motivate you to forget all about it.
If a painful past still haunts you, then there’s something you still need to learn. If the past is still triggering you and causing you to always have a bad day, then there’s something you need to address.
The past is dead and can’t be resurrected. You have to heal it, so it stops controlling you.
You’ll never soar if you’re carrying the dead weight of the past on your shoulders. If you don’t let it go, it will weigh you down.
Let it down and have a good day. Listen to your intuition and step boldly on the right path.
When you let go of the past, you feel lighter, happier and can therefore move into higher levels of consciousness.
It’s difficult, but it’s been done before and can be done again. It’s just a choice you have to make. Just make it and start living the abundant and satisfying life you came here to live.
