- Take time to envision your dream life and write down your bold goals.
- Break them into monthly and weekly smaller goals.
- Create actions you must take daily to achieve goals.
- Do a self-audit every month or week to see how you are doing.
- Health is wealth. Add active movements for each day for 30–45 minutes. You can add activities like strength training, yoga, or walking/running.
- Hydrate yourself with plenty of water every day. I aim to drink 2L of water every day.
- Incorporate guided meditation even if for 5 minutes.
- Start a hobby that has a calming effect on you. For me, creating art, decluttering, and writing my journal make me joyful.
- Eliminate distractions whether it’s your phone or people.
- Spend time with your family and be there mentally as well.
- If you have issues that need resolution, therapy can be a great way to start.
- Sleep better.
- To create a new habit, do it for 100 days. It typically takes 61 days to form a new habit.
- Start your morning and night routine to stay motivated throughout the day.
- Ego is your enemy, don’t let it come between your well-being.
- Do things that your future self will be proud of.
- Appreciate yourself no matter how small you think your achievements are.
- Make your trusted people accountable for your day-to-day progress. They will keep you grounded and motivated.
- La Familia — Family is important. Love and appreciate them each day.
- Read better to become better.
- Use positive verbs and affirmations especially when you talk to yourself.
- Life is not fair, so unburden yourself from unrealistic expectations of people.
- Social media and news directly impact the way we live and think. Curate your feed carefully.
