10 Of My Favorite Books By Outstanding Medium Writers

These books have helped me as a person and as a writer.

Photo by Kelly Sikkema on Unsplash

One of the things I am most thankful for Medium is how I have been connected to some really great authors.

Constantly, I am finding new books to read, people to follow, and writers to connect with over multiple platforms. Most of all, I have had some tremendous conversations and moments over the last couple of years with these groups of writers.

Recently, I am working on getting caught up on my reading list.

Since I am home with our baby for a few months, I have started working through ebooks and paperbacks I have picked up over the last year in hopes to learn more, get caught up, and support my fellow writers.

I even pulled this little stunt, and I have a lot of books to work through from this one:

All that to say, I have found some really good books. They are helpful, useful, and practical. And most of all, they are from people like you and me. Writing because they love it and working to make a living out of it.

Again, all of these books come from authors who are right here on Medium. They are people I know, and books I have found helpful for myself. I want to share them with you and hope you will find them helpful too!

The truth is, I could have continued for another 10 to 20 books. That's how many great books are coming from Medium writers. In fact, I am still finding good ones every week.

That’s what makes this platform great though. It brings together so many great writers and authors. We share our ideas, work on books together, and create a community of people who encourage each other along the way.

Lastly, if you have a book of your own that is out, drop a link to it in the responses and tell us what it is about! This way we can find more great books from our community!
