I Will Buy Your Book
And I am probably going to regret this…
I love to read books. And I read a ton of them. Lately, I have been burning through books so quickly that I started looking for other places to find books I might like.
And then something funny happened.
While preparing for a call with a fellow writer, I started looking through his books and picked up two or three of them. I started reading through one of his latest books and have not been able to put it down.
And since then, I realized I could add to my reading list books for my fellow authors right here on Medium! After all, many of us have written at least one book, some of us more.
And for the most part, if I like your writing here on Medium, I don’t see why I wouldn’t like your book. Sure there might be some random things that I might not jive with, but it is always fun to support fellow writers.
This has led me to pack my lists on my three favorite ways to read my fellow writers.
3 Ways to Read Each Other’s Books
Most of us are connected to Amazon with our books. We are either writing through KDP Publishing or our books are sold here. However, I am finding more and more ways to read our books.
№1 — Paperback
Creating a paperback book takes time, but it’s not impossible. I was able to do it with my book. Many of us have our books in paper format.
Recently, I received a copy of Nicole Akers’s book on Medium. And have loved it. Read it cover to cover and found some really helpful tips.
I also have a copy of Anthony Moore’s book and have been drawing on its inspiration to keep writing and working toward making writing my full time job.
That said, we have some great options for reading that are in traditional print.
No.2 — Kindle Books
My next favorite way to read is Kindle books on my Kindle Fire. The great thin. Here is you can have thousands of books in your bag to read at any time.
And you can download the app on your smartphone if you forget your Kindle at home.
A few books I’m working through right now are N.A. Turner’s book on how to write short stories. And Bradley Charbonneau’s book Decide.
Both of them have been so great to read and I am learning a ton out of two different topics.
No.3 — Audiobooks
When I had a hour long commute to and from work each day, I listened to a ton of audiobooks on Audible. And I really enjoyed my drives a little bit more because of it.
Now, I don’t know how many of my fellow Medium authors have audiobooks on Audible, but I’m trying to figure out how to do my own in this format.
***If anyone has there book on Audible, drop a link in the responses and tell us how t went producing it!***
Nevertheless, this is a wonderful way to read/listen to books as well and I’m starting to get back into it.
I’m About to do Something Stupid…
Okay, here we go. If you have a book out, please drop a link in the responses. I would love to hear about your book and read it.
I will get you added to my reading list and as I work through the list I will read your book and be sure to leave a review on Amazon and on Goodreads.
I have a feeling I could easily blow my reading list up here, but I am willing to do it because I know we have some great books amongst us!

Fill My Library
In the responses below, share your books! I will add them to my reading list and as I work my way through I will review them and let you know!
***DISCLAIMER: I do want to be honest. I don’t read every book to the end. And I don’t typically read romance novels or sexual fantasy writing. However, for the sake of inclusion and discovery for those who might, feel free to share your work.***
Alright, I am ready, fill my library!
