Your Thoughts Are Powerful

Day 81: Give loving thoughts your energy and change your days

Yesterday in the late afternoon, I spent a long time in our back garden. As I strolled around, I noticed the leaves turning red on the blueberry bushes. I felt the sunshine on my face as I picked up little sticks on the ground. Our neighbor’s tree always leaves gifts of the most beautiful, twisted branches. I love the shape of them as they seem magical. I held one of these swirly branches in my hand, and I decided I would keep this one for my own, as a kind of magic wand when I needed it. I believe everything that we experience has a deeper meaning. This is something I am learning on my 100-day spiritual journey as I explore the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins.

The only power that anything has over us is the power of belief that we give it. -David R. Hawkins

When we have a strong positive belief in something, we give it power. The more we focus our positivity and love on something, the more strength it gains. I believe that this is so important to remember in our lives. At this moment, it is so difficult to stay away from negative news and circumstances swirling up in a seemingly unstoppable storm in front of us. That is why, now more than ever, we need to concentrate on the power within us to create a new world. We do have the capacity to create love and peace right in our hearts.

Thought is powerful because it has a high rate of vibration. A thought is actually a thing; it has an energy pattern. The more energy we give it, the more power it has to manifest itself physically. -David R. Hawkins

I am learning that letting go of emotions and thoughts is powerful. Hope is rising up in me today. The dappled sunlight forms beautiful patterns on the ground, and the branches of the trees sway slightly with the gentle breeze. I sense that there is love all around. These past few days, I have surrendered a great deal. This process has opened my heart up to possibility. Everything seems to be in a beautiful flow all around me. I know I have done all that I can. The universe will take care of the details.

Peace comes with total inner surrender to what is. -David R. Hawkins

My prayer and my intention for you today is to examine your thoughts. Are they putting you in a positive state or a negative one? How do you feel? How does your body react? Paying close attention to our thoughts can bring different energies to our days. When we can let go of any thoughts that are not bringing us peace, we can live in harmony.

Are your thoughts bringing you peace today?
