Dear Lovely Readers and Writers,
Last week I found myself in a flurry of activity, gathering up cards, cookies, and other gifts to send to friends and family.
It is a joy to have something to share with others.
As I arrived at the shipping place, the gentleman remarked on a fabric bag I had. It is dark navy blue with constellations on it. He asked if I was an astronomy fan, and I said I was.
He said he enjoyed astronomy and was part of a local club. His energy seemed to beam with light and kindness, just like the stars.
Ever since that short conversation, I wondered what it meant. Every exchange we have with someone has meaning in our lives. They are things to ponder and reflect on.
I believe he meant for me to reflect on my year and find all the shining bright spots, just like the stars twinkle in the sky. At the end of the year, sometimes we lament things. What if we found the light instead?
