I am grateful for every day on this beautiful planet. Yet, today is an extraordinary one. It is the first anniversary of Thank You Notes!

As I made the dough and cut out a celebratory sugar cookie, it gave me great delight to think of a whole year of giving thanks. I thank all of you for your kindness, support, and love.

Together, we have 365 reasons to fall in love with life at every moment. An abundance of light to be thankful for. I thank you all for 52 weeks of joy!

Dear Lovely Readers and Friends,

Today I had breakfast with a very dear friend. I found out that in a few short months she and her husband will move further away. Although my heart hurts because I will miss her, I feel excited for her at the same time. New adventures and opportunities await them.

Life is like that. We face challenges that stretch our hearts to the limits, but we can feel elation at the same time.

Let us approach each day with a full spirit, full of light and love for whatever comes our way. As I navigate some difficult terrain in my own life this week, I pray for strength and above all love to get me through it.

I want to reach out and thank each of you for your love, support, and friendship this year. It means more to me than I can put into words.

I am determined to catch up with responding to comments this week after finishing this newsletter. I want to honor your loving words to me before I write anything else.
