You Want to Live in a Capitalist Country, From a Mental Health Professional
Here’s Why
Before we talk too much about this, I would like to establish any mental health professional’s point of view.
That’s the country that we will be in.
This is what we professionals all believe and how we all feel. Some may disagree, but that just means they are misunderstanding a few things.
Our belief is that we can build a life here, as we can build a home for our families — as big or as small as we desire.
As observed here:
Evenly Distribute
We know full well that the government is not going to evenly distribute $50,000 per year to everyone, including those who don’t work. That’s why socialism has never worked in any country it was applied. I know people have said, “it was just badly incorporated.” No, it was incorporated just as it was meant to by the gods of government, it fell because everyone quit working.
Four reasons people would quit everything:
- First, people would quit because they get paid to do nothing
- Second, others would quit because their work is worth more than $20,000 a year.
- Third, others would quit because of the decline in moral conduct, which would create a more dangerous place for their family, and so would stay home
- Fourth, others would quit because their work is not appreciated anymore
Healthy humans do not want an even distribution, they want a fair fight to the top.
If you force people to work, then we move from socialism to slavery, making the government Pharoah.
Professionals
We professionals will move to a country “doing well”, as this country will not be said to be doing well. We will say, “oh, look, this place over here is doing well.” And I bet this country that is “doing well” is capitalistic.
If I charge $200/hr, then I get $200/hr for me and only me. Socialistic government in actuality owns every company and I do not get $200/hr.
Here is a list of people who currently move to the United States:
- doctors
- IT
- millionaires
- and other professional/speciality services
The largest percentage, 23%, in a 2002 study, were in managerial/professional occupations.
Guess who we would not have if the United States was not capitalist? All that 23% of much-needed people, in addition to:
- everyone writing on Medium
- all doctors
- all lawyers
- all nurses
- all entrepreneurs
- all accountants
- all good intelligence agents
- all mental health professionals
- all government agency directors
- all pyramid-scheme Instagramers
- all women who like nice things
- everyone illegally crossing the border
- and everyone else who has skills to offer society
The people who will not be leaving the United States:
- people who can’t afford a plane ticket
- and people who can’t make it to Mexico or Canada’s border quickly enough
Have You Thought Of
Have you thought that no one would be able to buy Starbucks anymore, goodbye Starbucks, sorry about your new union achievement.
Have you thought that all highly valuable women would leave us? That would be a tragedy. Especially for those young bucks who are still single.
All countries would move past us, economically and technologically — duh, because all of us professionals would be gone.
We can go on and on all next year, the point is everything would crash. Tesla CEO would sell all US land and escape to Australia. Because in the socialist government, all land is seized.
Anyone with an inheritance would lose it and would start with the rest of those who stay, in the newly-named Divided and Broken 48 States of America. Hawaii would be taken back by the natives and Alaska would be taken and split between Canada and Russia.
Again, YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE INHERITANCE YOUR GREAT GRANDPARENTS WORKED SO HARD FOR. That will be seized “for the greater good.”
Ignorance
The funny thing is, people who believe socialism would work, do not really understand it or they have not thought about everything yet and think that nothing would change, only magically get better for them individually. That’s called selfish, unmotivated, uneducated, or they are something from a long list of other words.
All professionals will move to a country where they can have a good life on their terms. That is what we want for our clients, too.
Mental Health
This crosses over into mental health because there are millions of people who each day are beating themselves up over something they were told, which was actually not true.
We see this all the time. 90% of my past adult clients were individuals who watched the news and Facebook but did no research themselves. We mental health professionals directly understand the impact the news has on people who are struggling, psychologically. We actually recommend the TV be turned off.
There was this story about the Wall Street Journal that had completely opposite stories on the same day, both on the front page. Reason: Wall Street Journal catered to whatever political party was more prominent in each area. It’s business. And that is how media works, too. But since 2020, the media has been prompted or directed more by the government than any year previously.
However, my clients have always been underresearched. They are more vulnerable. But, they vote, and that is why the government and companies target them. They actually would like to be able to turn on the news and not feel more unsafe than they actually are and they would like to know more about the world.
In mental health, anyone with licensure who cites news articles as scholarly will lose their license. Even in college, our research papers must have only sources that are scholarly and peer-reviewed.
When I give real data from primary and secondary sources to my clients, they actually have a sigh of relief. That is a starting point for beginning treatment.
For treatment and prevention both, you must have a foundation of truth. In math, you can have whatever result you wish and desire, I don’t care, but the math 2+2=4 was the math that got humans and a rocket to space and back.
I set a foundation of statistics for my clients. If the true statistics are not sitting well with my clients, that’s another point of discussion. I am, as I’ve said in a previous article We Are Dead Men: The Price of Victory
No matter the fear, you enter in anyways. No matter if you learn what you thought was true was actually false, you adjust whatever you need to. You are as flexible to life as water, and you are as moveable to people as time is to you.
Conclusion
All professionals will move to a country where they can have a good life.
We want the same for you.
Just how things are.
Even for me to make this Canva in a socialist government, I would have needed to file a government request and they would have gotten back to me in 2 months with incomprehensible instructions. I’m a veteran and that is how it is in the VA in a capitalistic government, it would be worse in a worse government type.
