You Can Break the Rules and Still Make Money

See my silly article for proof.

I wrote this short and silly article a few days ago. I spent about 10 minutes creating it.

It’s my 2nd-highest paying article right now and has an 82% read ratio.

Screenshot taken by the author.

That means 82% of people who click on my article read it for over 30 seconds. That’s wild to me!

I know $26 isn’t a big pile of money, but I wrote it only 5 days ago and didn’t put a lot of thought into it.

I broke all the rules:

  • I didn’t use an outline
  • It doesn’t solve a problem
  • I only came up with one headline, not ten
  • I wrote it and published it without much editing

I don’t recommend doing that all the time. But sometimes you have a thought, and you want to get it out of your head and move on.

Looks like my thoughts about being a bored mom resonated with some people. (Bored housewives unite!)

I didn’t expect anything to happen with this article. I was just having some fun.

And sometimes fun is all you need…
