Writing inspiration found on Medium for the week of July 12, 2021

I find writing prompts and challenges as fuel for my writing, either fiction or nonfiction. I’m sharing here the prompts and challenges I have found around Medium for this upcoming week. If even if you don’t make a writing deadline, you can still use these prompts for your articles. Happy writing!

Each Monday, the Creators Hub publishes their writing prompts for the week. I’ll be writing an article based on the second prompt, “Is there a piece of technology that’s changed your life?”

This quote by Lao Tzu, “If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading,” is the writing prompt this week at Sky Collection.

Diana at To Know Thyself, Heal Myself posted 50 questions she will tackle over the next 50 days. You can join her at any point during this challenge.

Also from To Know Thyself, Heal Myself published the latest guest prompt based on the quote, “In life eventually we learn to plant our own gardens instead of waiting for others to bring us flowers. How are you preparing and taking care of your own garden?”

Tell Your Story is hosting a Fall 2021 Writing Contest. This is contest is for creative non fiction. Prizes are involved!

The Gentleness Ambassadors posted their July writing prompt: What can you allow to dissolve in your life?

How about a fiction challenge? Microcosm posted their latest prompt. You must use one of these words: Razbliuto, Yūgen, Schlimazl, Fisselig, Shouganai, Waldeinsamkeit.
