Hope, Healing, and Humour
Writing is My Hope and Healing
We all are on the journey of life. A journey that is filled with light, darkness, hope, disappointment, struggles, courage, peace, and patience.
We all go through ups and downs in life. As we go ahead in life, we become more strong in life.
We all have been hurt by some or other people or things. We all are on our healing journey. When we hurt, we need time to heal.
To heal you first need hope in your life.

During the days of pain, I found my hope and healing in one thing.
When I didn’t find people in my life to share my pain, I gave my words a place in my journal.
Sometimes, our emotions need to get out of our hearts and mind. We convert our emotions by saying words. When there was no one to listen to my words, there was my diary in which I wrote my all emotions and no one judged me.
Therefore, writing is my hope and healing.
Writing gave me peace of mind and relaxation.
Writing changed me as a person. It was proved as a great therapy for me.
“Words can be like X-rays if you use them properly—they’ll go through anything. You read and you’re pierced.” — Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
I believe there is no other powerful thing than words in life. They have a great influence on our lives. I am a person who easily gets hurt by someone’s bad words because for me words are precious. You can’t just throw them out from your mouth. Understand them, feel them and then utter them.
Therefore, next time whenever you utter a word think before you say it.
“Writing isn’t about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it’s about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life, as well. It’s about getting up, getting well, and getting over. Getting happy, okay? Getting happy.” — Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft
For me writing is not just a profession, it’s a personal therapy that I use for myself and to spread awareness and inspiration.
