Believe me. Personal branding is a valuable asset.

This is not some money-making article. I already know some of you might be already making money online. If not then please read this article. You’ll find it helpful.

It’s been more than 10 years since I started my online journey. I always thought that YouTube, Amazon KDP, and Fiverr were the only ways to make money online.

I keep on building my side hustle business. I keep n adding more small businesses as I get the time and have the effort to do that. I discover that the opportunity is endless. Dropshipping, Affiliate Marketing, Print-on-demand, Etsy, etc.

Be on any platform, I have realized one thing —

To make consistent sales, you NEED personal branding.

To make big $, you NEED personal branding

My experience with Personal Branding

I have a music store. It makes sales because of personal branding.

I make money on Amazon KDP. It’s all because of personal branding (under pen names of course).

I make money on Gumroad. Again thanks to personal branding.

How do I build Personal Branding?

I use a very simple strategy.

  1. I learned a skill/niche-specific — Choose a niche or a sub-niche of your choice. Don’t try to copy other’s niche because it’s not a Universal Law that what works for others will also work for you. Choose an Evergreen Niche if you want to make money throughout the year.
  2. Curated my profile — Optimize it as much as possible. Tell people what you know in FEW WORDS ONLY. Don’t write a very long essay. You can do this later once you have a large audience and IF people want to know more about you.
  3. Monetize it — Lots and lots of ways to monetize your account. But the biggest one I have seen is selling your services directly to your audience. You can do this using a marketplace like Fiverr or directly on Gumroad. On Gumroad you keep maximum profit.

Conclusion

Think of writers like J.K. Rowling. What is the first word that comes into your mind? Children’s author.

Steve Jobs? Innovator.

Warren Buffet? Investor.

Jane Austen? Romance Writer.
