It’s been a whirlwind of a week.
Welcome home.
In case we’ve never met, I’m Tree Langdon, an editor here at Words In Motion. The many talented writers I’ve met on Medium continuously inspire me and I’m always interested in their point of view.
We welcomed twenty talented writers to Words In Motion so far and almost all of them have a story in the works. This article features stories published in the past few weeks.
We have 49 followers and counting!
I’ve been participating in Medium’s beta-test of a new design for publications. It’s a more simplistic version and I’m not sure if I like it as much as the old one. every time you click through to the page it will likely be a bit different as I try new things out.
It’s a work in progress. Stay tuned for the results.
Our writers are talented and diverse, as witnessed by the variety of these creative stories that cover a wide selection of topics.
They include #Freelancing, #Relationships, #Mythology, #Business, Writing, #Mental Health, and #Nature.
There’s something for every reader. Enjoy.

Shine a Light on Your Favorite Story from the Past
As a special initiative, I’d like to feature one previously published story from each of our writers at Words In Motion.
Select a story that you really love, but it didn’t get enough attention, and now it’s languishing in the archives. Give it a read and a bit of polish if it needs one.
Send the link to [email protected] and I’ll put it in a feature article.
It’s ok if it’s sitting in another publication. If you want to transfer it over to Words In Motion, submit it and I’ll be happy to invite it into our friendly home.
Either way, it’s time to shine the light on your best story.
The key to a meaningful conversation includes both speaking and listening.
A meaningful conversation between writers includes reading, responding, sharing and appreciation.
We’d love to hear what you have to say.
