Woman, Wife, or Mother-in-law … Always Right … You Better Believe it!
I got three emails … did they come from a man or woman?

I got three emails:
I recently received the three items (below) in my email in-box. Can you work out who sent them? Did they come from a man, or a woman?:
Item 1 … A simple poster:

Item 2 … A Story — ‘Three Men on a Hike’:
Three men were hiking through a forest when they came upon a large raging, violent river that looked impossible to cross. Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed: ‘God, please give me the strength to cross the river.’ POW! .. God gave him big arms and strong legs And he was able to swim across in about 2 hours, but he nearly drowned twice.
After witnessing that, the second man prayed: ‘God, please give me strength and the tools to cross the river’ POW! .. God gave him a rowboat and strong arms and strong legs. He was able to row across in about an hour, but he almost capsized once.
Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed: ‘God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river’ POW! .. He was turned into a woman! She checked the map, hiked one hundred yards up stream, and walked across the bridge!
Item 3 … A Community Announcement for married men:

Have you worked out who sent me each of the above items … was it a man or a woman? I don’t think that it would be too difficult, but what about these next three examples of advice statements?:
Advice Statement №1:
‘If at first you don’t succeed, do it the way your wife told you!’ Who said that? Was it a man or a woman?
Advice Statements №s 2 & 3:
A couple of advice statements (taken from my Indian wife’s ancient recipe book), the last page of which is copied below:

The cup-of-tea advice seems quite straightforward, but the biscuit-baking advice is a little more sensitive and is clearly aimed at new brides. It probably says a lot about mothers-in-law too.
Maybe you know of other advice statements that poke fun at aspects of family life and family personalities, some perhaps too risqué to post on Medium. If you have any ‘crackers’ that are printable, please do let me know, and I’ll add them to this article in due course, giving you an appropriate ‘shout-out’ and credit. Thank you in anticipation … Fred.
And before you go:
Have you read my story: “A” Is for Apple … The Age of Computers & AI ? Here’s a box-link to that story … it takes the man-woman thinking to a different level:
