Why Women Care About How Their Men Look

Not just ladies — but all of us too.

It is no secret that first impressions matter.

Research has shown that people snap judgments about others within milliseconds of seeing them. And I bet, whoever you are, the first thing you look at a person is if they are hot or not.

And you may recall some stories from friends — that they would never date that guy because he had lots of pimples. I remember setting up a girl from the office until she saw my friend on Facebook — she backed out upon seeing the picture.

Yeah, it hurts most of the time — but for sure, nobody wants to settle for less — it is inherent to everybody that we all want the best.

And while we like to think that we are not shallow — and we do not judge people based on more than just their appearance, the truth is that looks do matter — when it comes to relationships.

Come on, do not be a hypocrite; most of you have at least considered appearance before going out on a date and saying yes to a commitment.

I vouch for this statement — all the women I date back when I was a teenager; I always considered their appearance. Some are natural beauties — while others know to emphasize their body curves — they know the drill.

When others say looks do not matter — I would say they are exceptional or merely hypocrites.

Giving you a wink alone does not do the trick.

Whether we like it or not, our partners are often a reflection of us. And because first impressions matter, we want our partners to make a good one.

The guy you will be with — will eventually meet your circle of friends and parents. Inherently, you also want to hear good things or approval that he deserves to be your boyfriend.

It is why women care about looks. We want the people we are with to be presentable and to give off the impression that they are put-together, intelligent, and successful.

Not shallow, It is human nature.

It’s important to remember that there’s nothing wrong with caring about how your partner looks.

It is natural to want the person you are with to look appealing — it is human nature. Studies have even shown that physical attractiveness is one of the most vital factors in choosing a partner.

When you care about your boyfriend’s appearance — do not feel guilty — you are not alone.

Take pride because nobody will do it otherwise.

Women care about how their boyfriends look — we want them to take pride in their appearance.

When someone takes pride in their appearance, it shows that they’re confident and comfortable in their skin.

It also shows that they respect themselves and those around them enough to take the time to look their best. Consequently, our partners take pride in their appearance. It reflects well on us.
