It’s easy for people to judge without knowing what it’s like to be in your shoes.

Especially when you have a regular job, the people you surround yourself with are family and friends.

But when you take the plunge into being a digital nomad, everything changes.

Now not only are you responsible for yourself, but also for your clients.

And as your business grows, so do the challenges.

At some point in your career, you will likely encounter a toxic client. This is someone who is negative, abusive, and uncooperative.

They can be a drain on your resources and cause a lot of stress. So, when is it time to fire a toxic client?

Let me tell you four warning signs below:

1) They delay your payment and act like it isn’t a big deal

One of the main benefits of being a digital nomad is that you get to be your own boss. And one of the perks of that is getting paid on time.

But when you work with a toxic client, they will often delay your payment or try to pay you late.

They may also try to take advantage of you by asking for minor tweaks that turn out to be MAJOR ONES. (Yes, they try to alter the brief)

Don’t let them take advantage of you! Stand up for yourself and demand to be paid on time.

If they continue to delay your payment or act like it’s no big deal, then it’s probably time to fire them.

Remember, you are in charge here! You are the boss!
