What To Do Before You Hit Publish

Time is Money. Editors are not being paid by Medium or the Publication they edit for the time they put in.

As an editor on several publications on Medium, I not only edit your power of words, I read it too. I read your power of words because it’s the only way for me to understand what is going on in your head and connect with your imagination as you inspire, educate, entertain, etc.

Learning mode is never off for me, so I learn something new just by reading what you write.

I am often touched by much of what I read. Life showed me to be inspired, and for better understanding too, I must go into your head and follow your imagination wherever it goes. I must go through your power of words.

Your power of words sometimes provokes my instincts with the title, topic, subtitle, a few words you said or the first paragraph, which will motivate me to go on.

Whether it’s in my field, or not, I go on. If I like, don’t like, enjoy, or don’t enjoy what I am reading, I still go on. If I don’t understand, I go on to gain a better understanding while learning something new. I read to learn and be influenced positively.

Inspiration are tool and asset that all writers carry around.

Not many writers know how to use it as a tool.

As a tool, I learn something new and can write about how it incites and excites my body, mind, and soul while thanking the writer and educating and stirring your emotions and thinking.

Because I understand the energy, time, effort, and dedication all writers put into their words. I understand that it’s hell out there for many of us.

As many of us write for healing and therapy.

It’s not easy to open your soul to people you don’t know, so it takes strength and fear for many of us to write. I am encouraged to read your power of words.

One thing can discourage me from going on.

The amount of thought writers put in their power of words. And that thought shows in your lack of ability to properly edit what you say. Thanks to technology, free tools are available online that do corrections to what you have to say in minutes.

Editors volunteer their unpaid time to give your power of words life, a say, to inspire, motivate, educate, uplift, entertain, enlighten, heal, influence, incite, excite, inform, transform life and thinking, etc.

We aim to give your words life, but you must put more thought into what you write before you hit publish.

Free tools are available that can aid in you correcting and properly editing your article whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, poetry, whatever your topic is, etc.

Whatever you write, take the time to double and triple-check for spelling or simple grammar errors. You will be making the editor’s job easier as we work with time. By giving us your best, we have more time to read and edit other writers’ power of words. Then more writers will get published and everyone will be happy.

Because we always give our best.

I know, we can’t make everyone happy, but I can see your smile when you open your email and see that your power of words was published promptly, and you can’t wait to share it with your readers and friends.

Yes, I can see and feel your smile.

When an editor’s job is easy, they do more and give more. Then everyone wins.

Below is a list of free writing tools and their links.

Let’s spread and share happiness by doing our best.
