POEM OF FAITH

What Life Plans Can You Make?

The only plan you need is to tell yourself you’ll be okay.

Do you take door A or B One opens, one not. Do you see

What about the path above or below One is simple, but one lets you grow

Speak the truth or paint the lies As years go by, I’d rather be wise

Save your mint for storms in a downpour Spend with passion, let your purpose ROAR

What -year plan enables you to see You will always be you; I will always be me

Wishes, dreams, and hearts to follow Fill your cup, share your life, and never be hollow

Rains will come, be it sunny or dark gray Umbrella or soaked to the bone, you’ll be okay

Canceled or without a hitch celebrations to share Take my hand. You’ll be okay because you care

When, how, if, can, will, questions on repeat Just know you’ll be okay and won’t be beat

When life’s journey is at its end You’ll be okay with a promised place to mend

Thank you for taking my poetic journey of choices in life.
