What Is The Third Eye?

It is the gateway to the spiritual realm and higher self.

The third eye in many religions is the spiritual center of the brain. The third eye is located in between the eyes which is where the pineal gland is. Many ancient cultures that place an emphasis on the third eye believe that is the gateway between the physical realm in human form and the spiritual, non-physical realm.

Pineal Gland 🧠

Most people have a pineal gland that is calcified or hardened. There are some theories that consuming fluoride can calcify the pineal gland as well as toxins we consume in our environment like pesticides, pollution, etc. When people incorporate spiritual practices into their lives regularly, the pineal gland is more active, just as any organ would be with increased practice (like the lung capacity of someone who does anaerobic exercise.)

Simple lifestyle practices like maintaining good emotional regulation, getting regular proper sleep, and lowering stress, of course, all have an impact on how easy it will be to access the power of the pineal gland and connect with your higher self.

How Do I Open My Third Eye? 👀

Keep in mind that you cannot force it open. It is a gradual process that can be expedited with daily practice and various meditative practices on top of healthy lifestyle practices.

Here is one technique you can try:

  1. Sit down and get comfy. 🌤 You’ll be here for 10–15 minutes. Find a quiet spot, in nature if possible. Make sure you are in a place where you feel safe and won’t be interrupted.
  2. Put on some meditative music if you like. 🎶 I really like to listen to 432 Hz. I find this particular frequency to be extremely uplifting and revitalizing. This frequency is also said to release emotional blockages and is known as the natural tuning of the Universe.
