PLAY OF CONSCIOUSNESS
What is God? / Consciousness? [2]
Yes, Consciousness and Infinitely More…

What is God?
It’s impossible to adequately explain the what of God. The reason is obvious. My finite transceiver consciousness is not enough to explain God.
I posit that God is Creation. What is creation? The process of biological life is a kind of creation. God as Creation is the ultimate in creation, thus the capital “C”. Astrophysicists study creation of stars, planets, and galaxies. This study may support the background platforms for biological processes to form.
Humans are curious creatures. We desire to know more. Mystery is enticing. Scientists work to explore mystery. We humans seek to reduce to explain. This is antithetical to the realm of mystery. Out of the actions of need, God represents an aspect of the mysterious or mystical. Presumably God can explain the unexplainable, but not in a way that we can grasp.
Need
I posit that an anthropomorphic God created by humans out of need. The need is one of needing to know the why of events. The need of humans co-created an intermediary “space” between God and sentient humans. Creation formed a demiurgic intelligence known to the Hebrews as the Elohim.
Demiurge/The Elohim
The Elohim is a conglomerate of “gods” 12 pairs of human-like beings or 24 in all. There are probably other names for the demiurge. The demiurge has vast supernatural powers. It lives forever, has superior intelligence but is not omniscient nor omnipotent. It makes mistakes. [1]
Demiurge — noun 1. capitalized a: a Platonic subordinate deity who fashions the sensible world in the light of eternal ideas b: a Gnostic subordinate deity who is the creator of the material world
2.: one that is an autonomous creative force or decisive power
from Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
Think of the Demiurge — Elohim as Creation’s executive. The Elohim has all it needs to guide humankind for as long as the species remain alive on planet Earth. God may be thought to dwell in a place. The same could be stated of the Demiurge — Elohim, but this is a human idea or projection. Elohim and Creation/God exists outside time. Elohim is connected to countless other sentient species throughout the multiverse. [2]
Another way to think of the executive powers of the Elohim is by way of the following analogy. The President of the United States is the executive responding to the will of the people. Creation/God is the will of the people and the Elohim is the President carrying out the will. A large difference is the Elohim cannot be bought-out by special interest groups.
Being
When an accomplished mediator enters the meditative state, then Being is realized. Being is transcendent of space/time making past, future and present irrelevant. Elohim is Being co-created by Creation/God and the need of humanity. [3]
Within each human there is the seed of Being — to release ego and be Elohim-like. Buddhists who have reached the first levels (glimpses) of enlightenment are able to suspend ego (the sense of “I”) for brief times. When the transcendental is realized, ego or the sense of self is maintained while realizing it is also an illusion. These are some of the many paradoxes of the higher forms of enlightenment.
Being states are different than ego or sense of self states. For instance, if I were to travel to the Altai Mountains in the Ukraine, I would use a plane, a car/train and pack animals, guides to trek into the mountains. As Being expands and includes “here” (California) and “there” (Altai Mountains) are One. In Being there is no travel — instead — inclusion. In our minds we can sketch a map of the territory of inclusion. Sensing it physically, getting in emotionally and letting mind grasp it is something else altogether. This may be akin to Being States where time does not exist and sense of self fades to…
When I have returned from the void I have felt stripped of the superfluous, barely recognizing my self. I am humbled maybe hobbled too.
Axioms: 1. Creation (God) exists in all beings, things and in every process of creation. 2. Creation includes destruction and polarities/contradictions. 3. Within each of us is All once space/time has been shed and we realize, laughing, that we have always been joyous and ecstatically happy. There is no need to do anything to pursue happiness.
