My Life Long Acid Trip [1]

Part 1 — Exploring Consciousness and Dimensions

Perceptions

When I took acid at 25 it jarred me loose from the acid trip I had been on all my life. It stripped the depth and the superpowers I had into flat world of shadows. When I came down from the LSD chemicals my trip resumed: the depth and the superpowers returned. [The perceptions while tripping with LSD made me ordinary. When I came down, the extraordinary perceptions returned]. It was only then that I knew I had been on a trip since before the beginning and after the end.

The me was (is) shattered into pieces of myself to see the oneness that underlies or holds every body. [All manner of matter from water and rocks to biological beings are living bodies.] As a toddler I was in the Oneness. My endogenous acid trip manufactured by my brain synced up with what my soul already knew. I resisted the perceptions of my trip and began to believe their illusion to belong.

Believing is Seeing.*

[*Seeing is Believing — is the ordinary turn of phrase. Belief creates a filter. Filters narrow information based on a central premise. Information that does not coorespond or agree with the premise gets discarded. Premises or beliefs may or may not be true. Scientic inquiry includes new information through challenges of theories/premises. Religious beliefs often go unchallenged. These beliefs often become rigid dogma.]

The trip persisted via bleed throughs from realities beyond the illusion. There is an element of protection. A grounded old soul can perceive realities that a child’s mind cannot. An old soul often protects the child from remembering severe traumas. If I had remembered the traumas when they happened I would have killed myself.

The memories of the traumas didn’t resurface until I was in my 40s. My late 30s and early 40s I had begun to feel safe and loved for the first time in my life. Me and my work mates offering crisis mental health services, became my family. Such was my diagnosis as a person with D.I.D..

What Box?

Thinking outside the Box is an acknowledgement of the box as anchor. Thinking links to the box. The Box is a referent that creates a ground for polarization / oppositional thought. The Box is the ordinary. If I never see the Box then there is no outside or inside. I could be free.

I could be free.

There are many assumptions related to the possibility of freedom.

Is the meaning of “free” on a continuum? Levels of freedom range from unconscious slavery on the way towards ultimate freedom. (More about freedom and free will in these subsequent parts of the series — The Play of Consciousness.)

Acid trips and other medicines (LSD, Ketamine, Mushrooms, etc.) outstrip “Box” thinking and worlds open.

Consciousness is All Around, Inside, Outside & Through

When I was fourteen years old I wrote a crude science-fiction short story. A submarine that was shrunk to a microscopic size. It was injected into the blood stream to repair a valve in the heart of the patient.

In 1966 “Fantastic Voyage” — the movie appeared. I was immediately incensed. They stole my idea. I did not steal the idea because I was unaware of its inception. “Fantastic Voyage” and my small crude short-story came from a collective consciousness.

In the summers of 1967 and ’68 I had two experiences of Oneness. The first was emotional — I was engulfed/embraced & permeated by unconditional love. The second — I saw Earth from space and every “body” connected by the light of love — holding all bodies in light. Despite these experiences and the others that followed I stayed in the the illusion of remaining separate instead of surrendering into the oneness.

We are Transceivers of Consciousness

Experiences of consciousness are everywhere in every being, thing, and body! Working outside time, I have been a conduit of healing for clients. I have seen, as humans, we are transceivers of consciousness. Consciousness is All. As a transceiver of consciousness we tap into the pervasive light that holds us and is in us all. We tap in and channel the wider consciousness into the human form. Wider consciousness once reduced becomes a language communicated form.

Think of it this way. We are actors in a television series. The series lasts millenniums. The maturing soul or director is a guilding force for each season of the show or lifetime. We learn the lessons of a life that fits into the mosaic of Greater Purpose and Mission or not. Wash, rinse, repeat. Our maturing soul is coated with more light through love. Or our soul/director is stripped of light through excessive fear. Love is all that matters. Each life is about giving and receiving love. Love creates Mastery. When the soul is completely coated by light the ultimate Free Will is expressed. Does the master return to the body as a Bodhisattva? Or do they ascend to higher vibrational consciousness. An incompleted soul spends attention between lives examining/remembering the previous life.

These many experiences assist us in expanding and transcending our human self towards a greater level of consciousness. This could be called cosmic consciousness and transcendental enlightenment.
