Words of Wisdom top prize goes to John Cunningham. He offers three types of friend; a drainer, a maintainer, and a propeller. His words could very well help you know who to focus on.

I choose to spend time with those that make me feel like the person I want to be, the best version of myself, and limit my time with those who bring out the worst in me. ~John Cunningham

Libby Mitchell brought a grin to my face with this dazzling microfiction choc a bloc with double entendres.

Subashini Nachimuthu wrote a wonderful poem about women. I love her subject and her word choices are superb.

It’s unusual for me to read an article on ‘How to Make Money Online’ but Ashish Nishad intrigued me with his title. Who isn’t looking for ways to make a passive income, right?

On a separate subject, he is obviously not a native English speaker and I wanted to cut him some slack. So, please excuse Ashish’s grammar mistakes, he has promised to try harder next time and use a grammar checker to help him identify the areas he needs to improve.

As an editor on ILLUMINATION, I gave Ashish the benefit of the doubt by expecting him to want to improve his story after I published it. If it was me, I would have.

We’ll finish up on a positive with Jennifer M. Wilson. She shares what she learnt while growing up as the only girl in a group of many male cousins. I found it an entertaining read and learnt a lot because my only experience of other children was my younger sister and a handful of school friends.

I don’t hide my hurt and tears from others because I’m trying to be some tough badass chick. It’s much more complicated. ~Jennifer M. Wilson

Thank you for reading.
