We Just Got a First Look at Ryan Reynolds on the Set of Deadpool 3
Set photos reveal Reynolds’ new suit for Deadpools first appearance in the MCU.
So, in my previous stories, I’ve talked about different stuff related to Marvel, and you can find the links to those at the end of this post. But today, I want to chat about Deadpool and spill some juicy deets about some awesome pics that just popped up from the set of Deadpool 3.
What is Deadpool?
Deadpool is one heck of a character. Look no further if you’re looking for a superhero who breaks all the rules and flips the bird at conventions. He’s the Merc with a Mouth, the guy who can’t shut up even if you want him to. And trust me, you won’t want him to.
Deadpool’s real name is Wade Wilson, and he’s not your typical do-gooder in spandex. Nope, he’s a sarcastic, wise-cracking antihero who loves to mess with people’s heads.
Picture this: a guy in a red and black suit, covered head to toe, with a mask that hides his face. Oh, and did I mention he can regenerate his body? Yeah, he’s practically indestructible.
But it’s not just his powers that make Deadpool so special; it’s his attitude. He’s like that friend who’s always cracking jokes, even in the face of danger. He uses humor as a coping mechanism, and it’s his way of dealing with the messed-up world he lives in.
Oh, and did I mention he’s aware he’s a fictional character? Yeah, he’s got this meta-awareness thing going on. He’ll often break the fourth wall and talk directly to the readers or viewers. It’s like he’s in on the joke, and he wants you to be too.
Deadpool’s origin story is a bit grim. He was a former special forces operative who became a test subject in a shady experiment. They injected him with a serum that activated his mutant genes and gave him incredible regenerative powers.
But, as with most things in his life, it didn’t go as planned. The experiment left him scarred and mentally unstable, but it also gave him his unique sense of humor and ability to heal from any wound.
So, what does Deadpool do with his powers? Well, he takes on all sorts of odd jobs as a mercenary. Do you need someone taken care of? Deadpool’s your guy. But don’t expect him to follow any moral code or play by the hero’s handbook. He’s a loose cannon, and he does things his way.
In comic books, Deadpool’s adventures are often filled with violence, irreverence, and pop culture references. He’s been known to team up with other heroes like Wolverine and Spider-Man, but he’s not your typical team player. He’s more of a wild card, and you never know what he’s going to do next.
Deadpool’s irreverent nature has made him a fan favorite. He’s gained a massive following and even had his own successful movies. Ryan Reynolds, with his snarky charm, brought the character to life on the big screen, capturing the essence of Deadpool’s humor and craziness.
Deadpool 3 set photos?
Check out these cool Deadpool 3 set photos! They give us a sneak peek at Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Some fans even think the photos reveal some juicy details about the movie’s plot.
Now, when it comes to Deadpool 3, most people assumed Disney wouldn’t make an R-rated movie with the character since it’s under their umbrella now. But surprise, surprise! Disney announced that Deadpool 3 will still be true to its R-rated roots, much to the delight of fans.
So, The Mirror dropped these set photos that show Reynolds rocking his Deadpool suit. Not much has changed in terms of design from the previous films, which isn’t surprising. The red might be a tad brighter, but that could just be the lighting or get tweaked during editing.
The only noticeable difference seems to be some added black on the chest and a possible change in the material. Oh, and in one of the photos, Deadpool is missing his belt and holster. Wonder what’s up with that!
According to reports, the scene being filmed in these photos involves a car crash in the forest, with a stunt double playing Deadpool. Some fans noticed the stunt double in the front seat and started speculating if there might be two Deadpools in the movie.
But let’s be real, it’s more likely just a stunt double. However, rumors suggest that Deadpool 3 might explore the multiverse and include characters from the Fox franchises, like Channing Tatum’s Gambit project that didn’t quite work out.
Now, these set photos do give us a good look at Reynolds’ Deadpool costume, but some fans are bummed that there are no pics of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine or the other rumored characters.
Final Words
Guess we’ll have to wait and see if Jackman will finally suit up as Wolverine in what might be his final appearance as the character.
Mark your calendars, folks! Deadpool 3 is hitting theaters on May 3, 2024. It’s going to be a wild ride!
