Ways to Speed up Your Manifestations

No more sabotaging your progress.

You may wrongly assume that manifesting rituals consist of crystals, chanting affirmations in front of the mirror, scripting, visualizing and many more freaky techniques. Those techniques are nice-to-have, but never a must-have.

Manifesting is easy and effortless, and all you need alongside your journey is the power of the mind.

The self-help section has corroded our confidence in ourselves. An epidemic of desperate reliance on the above-mentioned sorcery comes at the expense of trusting our inner guidance. Not only do you start doubting whether that fuzzy wishful thinking is worth any effort at all. What is more, you cultivate an inability to trust yourself.

Luckily, I have been there and done that and have put together the most atrocious self sabotaging habits we are all guilty of.

#1. Living in the past.

Stop thinking about it. Stop stressing about what would you do differently.

I realize the experiences you have had so far may not be the most desirable. Nevertheless, as long as you overthink mistakes and live with the old narrative, you will recreate the same experiences as in the past.

In what you remain, you recreate.

The past has no bearing upon your present unless you allow it. Do not let what has happened to you to define who you are now. That is a closed chapter.

I understand it is familiar to dwell on how unfairly life has treated you. However, there is no value in that reasoning.

Change the narrative and coin it into a powerful story: how much the past has taught you, how better you are because of the lessons learnt. That is the valuable mindset you should promote.

You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don’t try to forget the mistakes, but you don’t dwell on it. You don’t let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space.

— Johnny Cash

Yes, your emotions are valid. Do not buy into the myth of forced positivity. If sadness comes over you, acknowledge it, observe it, but do not identify with the emotion, for they are not permanent. Give yourself time to admit that you feel like crap, and go on about your day KNOWING that the change is certain, KNOWING that emotions fluctuate and the shift in your state is on the horizon.

#2. Prioritize your self-concept.

Self-concept is nothing else than what you think about yourself.

If you persist in believing that you suck at maths, you will promote that through your experiences. However, if you start telling yourself how brilliant and a quick learner you are, your results will show improvement.

There is no need to look for validation of your skills outside, unless you start thinking highly of yourself first. Build up your confidence, so that others start believing in you as well.

Whenever I need to remind myself how powerful a creator I am, I affirm:

I do not care how it will work. I only assume it will work.

Self-concept comes from a mental diet: thoughts you consume daily.

Do you think about uplifting scenarios? Are you cheering your way to the top, or do you give in to damaging what-ifs?

Observe your thoughts and pick only those that support your dreams. If you find that you get stuck in limiting beliefs, converse with yourself. No shame. We all do it. Some people may deny it. Most people are not even aware of the self-talk that goes in their heads constantly. Your mental chatter can sabotage your manifestations, or promote your powerful state of being. You decide. After all, you do have control over your thoughts.

You are the master, not the puppet.

The key to your desire lies not in other people, making something happen, forcing an outcome, affirming all day long, obsessing over evidence in reality.

The key always lies in how you think about yourself and your place in this world. Once your self-concept changes, your reality follows.

Stop trying to change the world, since it is only the mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself.

— Neville Goddard

#3. Take on chances.

Many people, who start their journey with the Law of Attraction, resist taking action.

I support the idea that no forced action is necessary to manifest. It is never a productive approach to change people, force interactions, manipulate your way to the top. However, an open mind to act on opportunities is a necessary step to thrive in your manifestations.

Imagine sitting all day in your meditative sanctuary, surrounded by crystals and chanting mantras on repeat. You are fully zen out. You completely cut yourself out from the world.

I understand and respect the call for solitude, quieting your mind and connecting to the inner self. Yet, remaining in that seclusion every day strips us of actively participating in life.

After all, we came here to experience this wonderful adventure through mistakes, contrast, laughter, a colourful, vast array of emotions. Do not cut your oxygen which is made up of contrasting characters, experiences, uncomfortable growth, as one day you will wake up in your self-made exile discovering you have missed out on life.

#4. Stick to hand-picked sources of information.

Do not overconsume content about manifesting.

Whenever you become too dependent upon reading blogs about the Law of Attraction, devouring self-help books to find yet another solution to your problem, you spread yourself too thin. After all, there is one thing you are after — to feel better, to feel happier. Each self-help book promises you that.

Meditate on your progress. Have you indeed implemented instructions you have studied? It is one thing to read about it. The other end of the spectrum is to act on it.

Instead of mindlessly scrolling through the feed gawking at the progress of somebody else, spend an hour observing your thoughts, reactions to the external world, people, events, news you see on TV.

Instead of focusing on the outside world, seek answers within.

You cannot rely on the endless flow of information to make you feel good. Build your own beliefs that support your vision, instead mindlessly following preaches of somebody else.

#5. Never give up.

You may not see immediate progress, but it is okay. After all, faith is persistence despite not seeing or touching the results.

Just because today’s situation may seem hopeless, you never know how much movement is going on behind the scenes. Prove the magnificence of your desire by believing in it, no matter how slim chances may seem. Persistence is all that matters. Giving up will lead you nowhere special.

Many people forsake the path to their dreams. Many people come up with excuses why it may not work. You don’t want to become one of many, do you? To create a new lifestyle, you need to approach it unprecedentedly.

As long as you remain faithful to your dream, it becomes a fact. You persist no matter what. You cherish it with all your heart. You do not allow anyone else to sidetrack you from what you want. You don’t allow anyone to make you doubt yourself.

Which brings me to the next point…

#6. Do not rely on what you see.

Reality is a completed manifestation of your past thoughts, beliefs, and habits. What is has no influence over you unless you allow it.

If you immediately react to what is in front of you, how people treat you, you are going to recreate events based on your reactions. It is not about ignoring reality, more about mindfully reacting to it.

How would you respond if the situation was ideal? You would not complain. You would not criticize. You would not be stressed about it. Change your reaction, and the shift in reality will follow.

The same goes for checking the progress of your manifestation. Whenever you look for evidence, you affirm that you lack what you want. Step away from desperate attempts to find results. Let go. Life will take you there.

You manifest more by letting go than actually holding a tight grasp on it.

You attract and manifest whatever corresponds to your inner state. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.

— Eckhart Tolle

#7. Change how you perceive manifestations.

Instead of putting your desires and ‘manifesting ju-ju’ on the pedestal, acknowledge it as normal.

Yes, it is normal to get what you want. Yes, it is normal to manifest. You are doing it all the time. The good, the bad and the indifferent.

That meal you had today? It was the result of your assumptions. That coffee with your friend? Yes, that was a result of your assumptions. That thrilling eye contact with a stranger? Yes, that was the result of who you are, what you believe about yourself and how you regard the world in general. That nasty comment your mom made? Hate to break it to you, yes, that was the reflection of your inner state.

You cannot change the world unless you change yourself. That shift you wish to experience begins within you.

You are never the problem standing in the way of your desires. You are the Source of your manifestations. Manifesting is effortless as long as you perceive it that way.

Do not focus on how big or unrealistic your goals seem to others. That is their reality and their narrative. Build your own mindset and take manifesting off the pedestal. The only one deserving that high spot is you.

Mind is our greatest tool in creating what we want. It is a tool. You do not give in to the control of it because then it becomes your torturer. You reach for it mindfully.

If there is one sentence from the article I wish you to take home, it is this:

Whatever change you seek to manifest, you need to become that which you wish to create.

If you are looking for peace, become it. If you are striving for love, show it despite how others treat you.
