For this experiment, I’m going to use a few different videos from the same YouTube channel that I recently used when I finally started working with AI Tools for Video editing.

Building The Mini-Net
I used some AI video tools to process and chop up some longer YouTube videos.
I’m experimenting with the newly-created ‘shorts’ videos that it created for me. I uploaded the video file to Opus and I also am experimenting with AutoClip AI, and with Vidyo I was amazed by the artificial intelligence video editing, I’ve added a couple of the shorts to my YouTube channel and I’d be very interested for you to steal this strategy, try out these clip generators — both have a free trial period that I’m using.
I’m following a strategy of posting the clip to YouTube, extract the transcript and then use and AI writing tool to help me create a long form blog post from the transcript.
Then I embed the video short into the blog post, where I can also build in the thoughtful revenue stream.

The Lazy Blog Post Formula
- First is the skeleton. A pre-made template for the start and end of all the blog posts you’ll create around each one of the new shorts videos.
- Second is the video short, shopped from older video content with the video ai tool. Once you review and edit, download the file and upload to YouTube, leave them in draft mode until after you can update the description below each video. Then schedule one or two shorts to be released each day.
- Third, the video short and the transcript from that video are pasted into the template. Grab the auto-generated YouTube transcript, I like to clean it up with ChatGPT, then paste that transcript into the description below the video as well as into the new blog post we are creating.
- Fourth, the video transcript is ‘expanded upon’ by AI writing assistant tools. Use the transcript as a seed and request your AI assistant to create a fully filled out 800 word article in the tone you have configured. - Fifth, contextual images are generated from midjourney.
- Sixth, all this content is pasted into the pre-made template and edited for clarity, flow and keywords. The more time I’ve spent writing for different publications on Medium, the more I’ve been learning about crafting articles in a much more professional way.
- Lucky Seven — double checking the revenue streams and related blog posts — then schedule this blog post in the slow drip sequence of releasing all these powerful new Shorts Videos!
Once you get set up, it takes less than ten minutes to create a DEEP and valuable, unique and contextual 800 word post that includes the video short, the little transcript from the video and plenty of space for two different styles of marketing: Affiliate Revenue, or Business Development.
Who Are The Best Selling Businesses?
We can start with Esty Product Research with my free monthly searches with Everbee. The top selling stores are likely to have a YouTube channel they have invested in, and they are most likely to have a marketing budget — along with an educated marketing department that will ‘see’ the value of this mini-net marketing campaign.

Now we can narrow our search with TubeBuddy and VidIQ, which provide some amazing insights with their free membership levels.
We are narrowing our marketing campaign to approach those successful stores on Etsy that have great long-form video on YouTube that has not yet been processed through the Video AI Tools for creating awesome short videos.
The Approach
You gotta believe in the approach yourself. You gotta build out a mininet as a test, and while you enjoy the benefits of your own mini-net, you’ll have the data to share with a potential client.
So Here’s What I’m Doing
The Mini-Net Publication on Medium
The top row of links are primarily referral links. Boom.
The far right arrows nightlight the two prominent connection zones to help build my audience and my following on autopilot. This will grow for months and years after planting this seed the correct way.
The left most arrows point to the topic keywords — carefully organized to ensure the mini-net of posts also cover all the primary marketing keywords and the most popular keywords for this niche.
The Blog Post Skeleton
I have a pretty long starting article that I copy and paste and start from. And it’s a different template for each niche I write for, but similar components for earning and for disclaimers (in this niche).
Now that I have the base formula in place, I can copy and paste in the name for the new video short as the title… I can craft a subtitle and also copy in the transcript from the video.
This is where it gets even more cool.

Using ChatGPT Comparing To Jasper AI
I’ve already worked up a pretty good routine with customizing ChatGPT to create articles in a specific voice — and even some awesome prompts that draw in current news from ChatGPT Plugins.
Recently a top content creator revealed she is working with tools like Jasper and Writesonic ai, so, well I’ve got to test them out.
So far — with, like NO reading the how-to’s… Jasper has been GREAT… and yet my setup on ChatGPT is much better — but not as easy. (read more on testing Jasper AI)

The flow of the content is so nice and smooth from Jasper. It could be that my custom instructions for ChatGPT… are… actually inhibiting the quality of the output, I I’ll try the same prompt without my custom settings enabled:

I’m very delighted to chop a bit from this AI and a bit from that AI because the output from each had some qualities that I wanted in my post… and the time it took me to create a deep and long post — is CRAZY little amount of my time to create a really good piece of content.
We’re DONE
Nothing left but the double-checking checklist on each of these posts, and then schedule them to go out on a drip feed… one or two a day!
It is a grind of work, even WITH all the AI Tools acting like an entire TEAM of content writers and videos editors at your fingertips!
The secret to finishing the entire mini-net and gaining that long term marketing bonus — is to stay connected to the long term success and the long term results while you are doing the grind of setting this all up.
If you are FEELING the success, then the work is not ‘difficult’. And we have to feel that success for a while before the full benefits of this campaign really sink in.

Once each of the blog posts goes live, you can use a free social media scheduling tool like Buffer to keep ahead and ensure that every new blog post is shared on every platform that you have a profile.
